At this point any "residual value" is purely guessing and conjecture. Plus the Turbo (for me at least) would have been over 30k more. Not sure I'd pay that if the value of the car in 3-5 years would theoretically net me a couple hundred/thousand more.
I agree with those saying not to buy any pre-packaged and paid for maintenance on the Taycan, or any electric vehicle. The most cost is coming from items with wear over time and which aren't going to be covered.
I didn't say the PORSCHE logo would light up, only how 'glacier blue' is an option. A couple comments above I stated it wasn't connected to the electrical.
I opened my email today and found an invite to a new app from Porsche: Porsche Miles. I was intrigued and kept reading. Sounded interesting and would definitely have tried it out... but then those dreaded words: "Note: An iPhone is needed to participate"
It's 2020 and I don't quite...
I remain skeptical Porsche would implement a new feature/option to this vehicle this soon. While they very well could be working on it, I wouldn't expect something for at least a year or so. We shall see. It might be something the dealer can install in their service center, too. I'd love to...
I HUD for what? The dashboard of the car? I highly doubt they are going to make such a change only a year after release. Please provide some hard evidence backing your statement.
IMO go with #6 AWG. The cost for wire is negligible ($0.40-$0.50 a foot) and the electricians labor is the same. It's what I ran in my garage and I only use the standard, portable charger which came with my Model 3.
I plan to use the included Taycan charger once it arrives.
