Does anyone know whether WPN9 will also be applicable to MY23 cars?
I have the Porsche logo issue at the PCM start and I contacted my dealer to get the WPN9 update. They told me that it doesn’t have a WPN9 recall but rather a WPN8 one.
Any feedback? Is it because I am in France and it is not...
It depends a lot on the config. With my Taycan ST, I get a lot of thumbs up, smiles, kids pointing to the car and showing their parents, people taking photos when I am at the red lights. With a Taycan loaner (grey color and average rims) nobody noticed the car.
I did report it through the app. That’s the feedback I got. I was wondering what feedback you got.
BTW I don’t think that this an app design issue but rather MyPorsche remote service design issue. If you connect trough the web portal (not the app) the problem should be the same.
@anonymouse did you ever get a valid feedback when you reported this?
I did report it and the feedback was that I need to book an appointements with a Porsche dealer to get the window sensors fixed. I am pretty sure it is not the problem but rather a bad design of the remote services:
1- it...
On Porsche France web site, you don't have to count as they count for you :) Taycan used Porsche approved available cars are way less than 911's and Cayenne's, and similar as Panamera
Did anyone one find out why the car is charged extra 4%? This keeps happening randomly independently of the chosen target charge. This morning I put the Target at 55% and it charged at 59%.
And I forgot to mention that I have model 2023… so it looks like they didn’t change the behavior over the years.
@allroadusa maybe you can ask the old owner how they were able to configure this? ? I am very interested to do the same.
Thanks!
Interesting. My Taycan is from France as well but the led strip is not on. I ordered mine new. Are you the 1st owner of the car as well? If not, maybe the old owner did something to get it on.
Interesting I started having a similar behaviour since a few weeks. In my case, my timer is supposed to charge to 50% each morning and one day I ended up with 54%. Then I changed the charging timer to 45%, and one day I ended up with 49%. Both times there was an extra 4% which is strange...
If you are also having the problem on my.Porsche.com (connecting through a browser vs the App) obviously this has nothing to do with the app itself and it is more a serious connectivity problem between the car and My Porsche. When this happens, I recommend that you open a ticket with Porsche...
Couldn’t agree more. It is the 1st thing that shocked me when I used the Taycan. I had a CLA with a surround view camera before the Taycan and the camera was so much better.
- I hate the weird narrow view of the rear camera
- I have the dead angles/blurry view at the corners’ level on the 360...
@Taycanist thanks for posting this. Can you please tell me how this issue got fixed in your case?
I have the same exact noise with my Taycan.
In my case, it only happens when I turn on A/C (if it is only the fan that is ON, the issue doesn't occur). Also it doesn't happen all the time. However...
I charge daily at 50%. With that charge I never go below 20%. I only charge more than 50% when I know I am going to do more distance. Porsche recommends 20%-50% battery when storing the car for more than 2 weeks. That range seems to be the one that preserves the battery the most. Therefore I try...
Thanks. I understood from the discussion above that regen is not efficient compared to coasting. But I am still missing something here, may be you can help me :)
From what I saw, when regen is set to Automatic (not ON), regeneration is only used in some situation where braking is needed. In...
Hi all, I have my Taycan since 2 months now and I use Automatic regeneration mode (not permanent regeneration). This mode does allow coasting, and regen only kicks in when the car detects a condition suitable for braking (such as the car on front slowing down and the Taycan needs to slow down)...
Received mine in a terrible shape as well. A lot of marks on the paint clear coat. They suspected the protective foil with no confirmation given the placement of the marks. The communication from Porsche is really bad. In my case the marks didn’t go away with polishing they had to repaint...
The lack of transparency from Porsche is frustrating… does your SA see that the car is awaiting QA check? Is 4400 the code for that? Mine is telling me that he doesn’t see anything. He had to call and ask.
