This is crazy and to be honest stressful since you can’t know when and where this will happen. Can’t you guys in the US report this to NHTSA? It might put some pressure on Porsche to get this fixed for once and all. Unfortunately we don’t have such a thing in EU to my knowledge.
Mine broke...
100%. If I am not mistaken they were promising a 15% increase in HP and way more Torque for the RWD. I wouldn’t call that “not entirely transparent” though. It is selling something completely different. I guess that telling people that they don’t gain any torque and they will just get the power...
@prj is there a way to know when the DTCs were triggered (date/hour)?
I see a lot of them but there are probably very old ones.
I got an Electrical System Failure message a few weeks back (which went away for quickly) and I am curious to know what fault triggered that. The date/time info can be...
@Gru thanks a lot for plotting those graphs. Very helpful. It confirms that @prj was 100% right.
About this one:
Would you have the same graph with the curve for "Stock Sport+ without LC"?
If the curve is way lower without LC, I understand why people who tuned the RWD has the feeling of a...
What about checking the maximum available power as well? The 340 torque is aligned with what prj mentioned (the tune cannot change the torque for the RWD), but I would check whether you have the 476 hp unlocked with the tuned ECU.
Maybe there is a way for you to know. You can measure both power (in kw and you can convert to PS) and torque outputs using CarScanner with OBD
Look here https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/2025-rwd-vs-2022-rwd-impressions-long-and-nerdy.25001/post-384718
Taycan 4 CT has 2 motors so it is not comparable at all to the RWD. Based on the explanation from the other thread the Taycan 4 can get a substantial power and torque upgrade through ECU tuning.
Maybe the feeling you are having is simply related to the fact that you are getting 476 PS all the...
Probably it is going to be a bad news, given the enlightening discussion that we had in another thread.

Unfortunately there is a very good chance that there will 0 difference between tuned vs not tuned for...
Very informative post, thank you!
Interesting… so basically RWD ECU tune is just about making available the 480 PS already available in LC and, from a torque perspective there is no increase possible.
So the +15%/20% horse power increase on top of the 480 PS promised by folks like redshift is...
If you have OBD and CarScanner, would you mind capturing the acceleration for the 0-100kph or 0-60 mph?
It is straightforward. Same as you btw 0-60 is not the most important thing for me either but it is an indicator of the potential real gain when tuned.
Thanks! Great news, it is going to be interesting to see the results with the tuned ECU.
If you can display the data in metrics as well (0-100 km/h) please post. If not, it is fine. 0-60mph improvements will give us an idea anyway.
Official data for 0-100km/h is 5.4 s and for 0-60mph is 5.1s. So...
You didn't read. Who said it was about charging over night? I already mentioned that it was useless for home charging. BTW I have a 11kw charger at home.
Sorry I didn't understand, probably because English is not my mother tongue :D
Why? because when you arrive at your destination all you do...
I am not in USA I am in France. And I guess that all of us don’t have the same use cases.
Why would I stop and spend 15 min to do a DC charging while I have the option to spend 0 minutes. I just arrive and park after my 350 km trip. BTW sometimes it makes parking way easier in crowded cities...
You have 25 Porsches? Correct? ? Ok I will give this challenge a try. Well since you have 25 Porsches, I would say no need for a spare battery. If one fails, you have the other 24 to drive a couple days each and by then you will get your 25th repaired? ?
The 22kw is extremely useful not necessarily for home charging but for long trips when your destination is a city center. In this case you just plug your car when you arrive and in a few hours it is charged to 100%. This way you can do a 700+ km round trip for example without stopping a single...
