Updates on RCC Classic: the ship arrived in Emden Sunday late afternoon US time. I’m not sure how long loading takes, but hopefully we will be leaving for the West Cost later this week.
I also saw that the Siem Cicero is still in Emden - they have been there since late in the day 11/5 US time.
For those of you on the RCC Classic. The vessel has left Southampton and is on its way to Emden. ETA in Emden is 11/7 in the morning. I don’t know how long they typically stay moored to load, but I’m hoping we leave Emden some time next week.
Now that I’ve been assigned the RCC Classic, my dates were suddenly updated tonight:
Start Production date - 10/26/21 (complete)
Finish Production - 10/30/21 (complete)
In Transit to Emden Port - (complete)
Arrival Emden Port - 11/05/21 (complete)
On Vessel - before: 11/26/21 Now: 11/12/21...
I think these are all just “guesstimates” at this point. There clearly is no direct link between accurate and specific days and then our vessel assignment.
Let’s see when RCC Classic leaves Southampton and makes its way towards Emden. My guess if that once we leave Emden and Porsche registers...
I am sitting in Emden - and was just assigned to the RCC Classic too. I have the the same "leave Emden" date of 11/26 and have arrival in Benicia on 12/31.
Now, I know that those dates are always Fridays - and no way it takes 7 days to travel from San Diego to Benicia - and I haven't been able...
I am sitting in Emden now (well, my car is...). I just had a vessel assigned this morning. I will be on the "RCC CLassic" according to TYD. That vessel doesn't show up in the Volkswagen schedule. So I tracked it and can see that it's in Southhampton, UK right now - looks like it's loading and...
Interesting - that would explain why my car is already sitting in Emden, but it's not scheduled to get to Benicia until 12/24. Based on the shipping schedule, I will be on the "Glovis Supreme" as that's the next vessel to sail to the West Coast.
I just missed the ship that left Tuesday this...
I think you are right - The Siem Cicero is the next one to arrive in Emden. It looks like it's 76 nautical miles from Emden right now with an ETA 9 hours from now. I couldn't find the ports of call for it's next journey when it departs Emden, but I'll try and see if I can locate it.
Siem...
Makes a lot of sense. Thanks!
Do any of you have access to the shipping/vessel schedule for November? I could only find the October schedule and also saw that Siem Confucius is still in Emden with a departure date of today (11/2) - it's still sitting in Emden as of right now.
