    Thanks Perry. Very helpful and you are right. I should go for whether I want the functionality versus the "look". I do like the floating feeling of the dash without it. That said, one pic I took from the top put me off a bit. See attached. But that said, should be okay without it

    ....7 % reduction. So off of 60 db, 4 db. Doesn't seem to be much BUT remember, db is on logrithmic scale, so 4 db is like cutting sound by 3 to 4 times.

    Why do you need to lease first and then convert? If you finance, can you not get the credit?

    This is very helpful. I was told multiple times that RAS was not needed. But from your response and 70 percent of the other participants, seems like it is the way to go. Thanks much for your feedback and taking the time to share your experiences

    He suggests "no" for DD. Which is interesting -- goes against the majorty opinion on this thread so far. Thanks everyone. It sounds like it is worth trying -- in the end, it doesn't hurt the car. And best case, it makes it better.

    What do you all think? Check this out -- 8:53 mark. Goes against the majority opinion results of the poll -- 70 percent voted that RAS was a good idea. RAS for daily driver? Seems like overkill but many comments indicate an incredible option. Thanks

    What did he mean by that? I didn't get it. Is he suggesting that even though there is a difference in sound, it is not a big deal so get the electric sound option?
