Part of what is missing from this discussion is that those cars cost $35K-$70K. For the first year the Taycan is going to cost $130,000+. For that money you should be able to "have it all" - looks, performance, handling, and range.

The pricing is not off. It is the same pricing that was given to journalist Alex Roy. Porsche can't yet produce the Taycan at the same cost as they can produce the Panamera and they don't want to lose money on it.
