I'm on 19" Continental WinterContact TS 860S and there is quite the difference compared to the 20" Turbo Aero wheels I use from April to November. The car feels a bit more nimble on the narrower tires, but perhaps a bit more understeered as well (from 245 to 225 in front).
Looks are... well...
Congratulations on your Taycan. Beautiful spec, the wheels really complement the rest of the car.
Base audio is fine for spoken word and low-level music, in my opinion. When I drive, I sit and listen to sounds from the tires and (if any) drivetrain, anyway. Old habit from when I did long-haul...
Nothing wrong with that and they have gotten an un-deserved reputation for beeing ugly etc. I will convert my set to winter usage now by adding some proper winter tyres, this should work quite well IMO (aero dynamics are good, and also a bit narrower tyres compared to the 20"s).
This summer we...
I have a set of 19" running the Hankook, as well as a set of the 20" Tubo Aero with the Michelin PS4. I would say the PS4's are a better all-round tyre. It has better comfort and seems to work better in slightly lower temps as well. The Hankooks are more picky when it comes to road surface, as...
Such a joy to follow "along" on your trip - really nice to see pictures and read about your experiences!
I think my next hotel stay in Munich has been setteled already...
Much the same as others have reported, here. It took 6 weeks from I signed the contract to the car arrived. Guess I was lucky with the timing.
During the 6 weeks, Porsche Center Kristiansand kept me up to date proactively, whenever there were changes in the manufactoring and delivery process...
Excellent numbers, really very promising - hope to achieve something similar (same rims and tires as yours).
I presume you used the tyre pressure suggested by the car itself, or did you find reason to deviate?
Very strange. Are you suddenly parking the car at a location where the ambient temperatures are lower, i.e. in a cold(er) garage as opposed to outside?
Great pictures and good description. This year, on our trip to Italy, we choose the Gross Glockner pass. It was nice, but Stelvio seems more dramatic...
I experience the exact same thing: clicking sound when foot is removed from the brake pedal. Quite annoying. Car only has 200 km on the clock, so hoping this is related to it still beeing kind of "fresh"...
You just follow the road until you reach the location where the convoy starts off. The road will be physically blocked by some kind of obstacle or a veichle. You will not miss it...
The person in charge of the convoy (usually one of the plow drivers) will likely come by your car, and have a...
