Spot on, @Dee
Has anyone see detailes release notes?
(Similar to this one for the old WLG2 update: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/wlg2-campaign-software-updates.1921/post-25431)
Gents,
Seen some general info about the update, but nothing too specific.
(This thread, and this post: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/dealer-software-update.4100/post-56509)
Also saw @Dee post some info on FB, but couldn't find it now that I was looking for it.
As far as I know, in...
I have already established that Porsches SW engineers are not up to par with the leading players. (Or perhaps more accurately; the management will now allow them to be. Either way - result is the same for end users).
I went ahead with the Blackvue:
Blackvue DR900X-2CH paired with Power Magic...
I had the issue recently.
Both doors locked closed.
Went to PC. They could manually reset, and see that there is a sensor fault. Sensor not available in Germany. They have not disabled my AC charge port door and all working OK. No real issues, either.
Yup, certainly did. Misunderstood an almost impressive 100% ;) Thanks for clearing up, and then I agree with you :P
Yep, the inverter might be a bottleneck to achieve more power. But remember it already accommodates for the +80hp during LC, so it is absolutely rated for that draw (current)...
You expect someone to say something, and therefore my arguments are flawed? Interesting. Let's see someone say something first, ey? The efficiency of the motor does not depend on the size. Change my mind.
The more power you produce the more energy is required. This is 1+1=2... no?
So if your...
Andrew; Respectfully - If you wanna keep posting here - Try keeping your posts somewhat informative, knowledgeable, funny, witty or otherwise classy. I've failed to see you make any - whatsoever - contribution to this forum. We get it - you like the S63 - which is a fantastic car by all means...
Just to be clear:
"Range mode" and "Porsche Intelligent Range Manager" are 2 separate things.
Range mode is available on all cars, but consider it "range light".
PIRM is a package you can buy with the car.. or an app, if you will. Which will take in account what was previously described...
HOOOOOOOOOOOOLY fuckety fuck boy... Bravo! Bra-vo!
My garage, which pales in comparison, but does the trick:
Connected the PMCC to a 400V 16A which gives 11kW-ish if needed - normally only 8kW needed during the night.
Having driven 21000+km now and having paid special attention do this - I agree with above.
I'm very impressed with the guessometer and have grown more and more
comfortable with it. As long as I have +3% on destination I'm good. (and that normally creeps up to +5-6-7% @ destination)
What the...
I did the exact thing last week.
Took 3-ish hours each time. PC provided a car for the duration.
However even with a replaced module it's not working 100%, and they are still getting error code(s).
So the matter is with Germany, again.
No proper input here. Just love the diversity of thought and the intelligence this forum is showing right now. This is the best car forum I've been on... ever.
My workarounds:
1) Change source - go to radio, wait until sound, switch back to BT. Normally works.
2) Change output on phone - go from car to phone speaker, and then back. Normally works.
