Wheels. The seats and steering wheel are leather. Wheels have to be the fat 305+ ones with gold crest, for my taste.
If you don't care about changing wheels later, then go leather. But if it were me, I'd change them immediately.
Ok got it done. Will see how it holds. Not my best work. Here are some additional instructions:
1. Cut the piece as 63mm x 233mm or at close as possible.
2. Now cut that piece into 2 pieces, 2/3 way up across the 233mm side.
3. Bend both pieces. The trick is to bend it very slightly along both...
Trying mine today when the Amazon package arrives. Will try to post an action shot if I get it slotted in.
Came across this post coincidentally as I just started noticing the debris in the curtain and along side the car. I can hear the debris crackle when driving after it's rained or I've been...
Weird, I can't see @tibiafx1 messages either. Just the grey quote box.
@Prit - yeah for sure, go for the experience. It'll make picking it up all the more a special occasion!
Excellent news! Mine just arrived at the dealership in Houston this morning, after arriving at the Port on Sunday. So not too long a wait. It'll go through PDI, charging and detailing now. So we'll see how that goes... I was getting nervous about Coffee Beige but I really like it in this photo...
You have the MSRP and that won't change. However, ask them to send you some lease or finance sheets "as you want to know your monthly" payment. There'll you find point in time fees, interest rates, money factors, residuals, taxes etc. Note that some of this stuff is point in time until you...
You should get that now. It's your allocation. You have until Jan 14 to make changes to your build config in the Porsche Configurator that will be mapped to that allocation, once you provide your final 'porsche code' to your SA. However, you've paid a deposit for that allocation, so double check...
My dealer sent me pic of my receipt for my $2.5K deposit. The receipt was stapled to the credit card authorization I emailed to my dealer. Once the build was locked in at the freeze date, my dealer texted me the Build Sheet with my name on it, their dealership on it and the ID of my vehicle. I...
I would assume those updates require Porsche technicians. Does that mean Porsche technicians travel to the port and work on the car there? Can they do all this work outside of their service center at the port?
Out of curiosity, what checks are actually done at the port? My vessel and vehicle is at the port and my SA said they don't perform any checks until it's at their facility. So they need to wait for the Port Authority to release the vehicle. So wondering what 'quality' checks are being done at...
I don't have my car yet so can't speak to it. Maybe others can. Wouldn't having the Sport+ mode, individual mode, thicker steering wheel be other reasons for in favor for SC?
I ordered my MY22 CT4 end of Oct 2021 a couple of weeks before freeze. Build Start Nov 19th, Build End Nov 26th. It's now on the boat due to land at port on Sun Jan 10th. Something if definitely up with those earlier orders. I went for a rather simple build so I wonder if it's particular options?
Fellow H-Town CT owner (to-be) here. Awesome following the progress of your CT4S. Great looking car! Mine should land at the Port of Houston this Fri 1/7 and at the dealer next Fri 1/14. Looking forward to seeing yours with the painted wheel arches when they're done! Thanks for all the updates...
