Tesla does show up if you set the filters to 150+ or maybe 250+ if V4 even though you can only draw 150. You need the app to instigate and pay for the charge when you get there. Play around with the route planning app at home and you'll see how best to use them if at all.
One other nice thing...
I do most of my charging at home too but having played with all the apps for the first 6 months I find the Porsche app best for route planning. There was an issue with it showing Gridserve sites but that's gone away now. Set the filters to only show 270kw+ chargers and lower the arrival charge...
Damnit! Mine is going to Guildford Wednesday for this plus the 2 year service and I said no to a courtesy car and thought I'd just throw the bike in the back and cycle home.
Interested to see how the brakes feel after this as the pedal seems a little squishy lately, moreso than I remember anyway.
I have the 20" WInter wheel set which have Pirellis. They handle the snow/rain/ice fine and are quiet but you will lose a lot of efficiency due to temps and rolling resistance. I've made several spins to the Alps from London and find in Winter you get about 2.0mi/kwh going and 2.2 back (long...
Interesting, I’ve used all of those and they used to arrive in 24-48 hours. Now they go into a customs clearance process on arrival in the UK that has taken 7–12 working days any time I’ve tried for all our cars since c.2020. My wife’s old ID3 was parked up for 2 weeks when she had a flat on her...
Winters? Summers are easy and most kep tin stock in the UK but Winters are a real pain to get in now and it wasn't like this before. If you know a site that gets around that fantastic and please share. Cheers
Frank @f1eng would suggest N rating is a very real thing and we all bow to his knowledge in technical areas. As a result I held off until they were N rated in other sizes meaning while possibly slightly different in construction there wouldn't be a significant difference. Agree on the cost...
Ah ok, Porsche don't mind mine as Guildford is being redeveloped currently and they lost all the storage space. This means I have the wheels in the shed and get the swap done locally in London. This made it very easy to order tyres in and then get them put on the Summers when I did the swap in...
Yes, it's fine to do. If you puncture you will have to go to Porsche anyway as they tend to hold stock of N rated Winters in the UK otherwise you could be waiting 2-3 weeks with Brexit checks as all the Winters on UK sites are usually shipped in from Germany, so arrive in the UK 12 hours after...
I've been running the Hankooks since April and the jump in efficiency has been amazing, coming from Pirellis. Have discussed it in detail elsewhere on here but as they are NF rated in 19 and 21 I bought the 20s and fitted them. There is no discernible difference in noise or handling, for me...
No discernible difference in either to me but I have double glazing and don't track the car. It remains ridiculously quiet, rides beautifully and handles as well as I could hope for.
Fitted the Hankook IONs on my 20" wheels in May this year to my '22 4S CT after 18 months of Pirelli Summer and Winter tyres and the change has been dramatic.
Now, 2,700 miles later
Before this switch 3.0 was dreamland for me too, now it's an almost daily occurrence. I've had 3.7 on a 40...
I do love how everyone is so different, I would single out Innodrive as one of my favourite things on the car, along with the massage seats and my unique neptune blue/blackberry colour scheme...
Innodrive is put to use on 90% of my drives, even the school run as there's a long straight road...
Don't know about Germany but I use the Porsche card by default everywhere when DC charging and so far from memory only ESB in Ireland and Gridserve in the UK have not worked with it. That's been across various sites in UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Holland and Belgium. Germany ought to be the...
I fitted the Hankooks in late April once I knew they were NF0 on different sizes, discussed it in detail elsewhere on here, and have seen a fairly incredible jump in efficiency. I've been checking year on year similar or identical drives on the app but I'm seeing 10-15% improvements on average...
I find it happens some of the time and I think only if I have been in my wife's car using Carplay or listening on AirPods and it will then pick up where I left off there. If on the other hand I had stopped the media on my phone as opposed to just getting out of the car and locking it or...
