It seems like this has to do with efficiency. If so, the rating makes sense. The Taycan is less efficient than the average EV even based on real world experience, much less published numbers.

I have noticed it feels like it costs better with auto-regen off than it does when coasting with auto-regen on. I haven’t noticed a difference between drive modes, all else ring the same.

Yeah, it’s not that fine of print. People are still selling cars for a lot even though the buyer pays the fee, not the seller. Carvana offered me $105 when my car is easily worth 115-120 so even a $4500 hit would be worth it.
