Glovis Chorus folks: the ship has left Newark on its way to Santa Marta before hopefully crossing the Panama Canal on its way to the West Coast. ETA to Santa Marta is currently the morning of the 12th.

I am. Right now TYD says arrival at Benicia on Thanksgiving Day and delivery on 12/3. No current campaigns on the car, so fingers crossed for a quick turnaround at the port.

It doesn’t matter to Taycan buyers, since the tax credit will only apply to cars with a <55,000 MSRP. It will be interesting to see what this does for adoption for mass market EVs, especially since VW is going to start building ID4s in Chattanooga.

Yeah I think that date is just bouncing around and Porsche is probably adding some buffer due to TPMS delays, etc... If we have no outstanding items on our cars, then port processing shouldn't take too long.

Should be fine, cars destined for AZ are unloaded in San Diego, and RORO ports are operating normally. Your car might be stuck at port for other reasons though (e.g. missing chips).

It has actually already left Emden and is heading to Zeebrugge for more cars before making its way across the Atlantic.

Looks like just no ships from Emden has a scheduled stop at Benicia after the RCC Europe departed Emden on Oct 5th.

GTDrivershop over on Rennlist posted this new export schedule from Emden. Siem Plato is the next ship heading to Canada and Texas (leaving Emden 10/27), Siem Confucius is the next ship heading to Davisville, Baltimore, and Jacksonville (leaving Emden 11/2). Meanwhile, for us West Coast folks...

I have a fairly complete build on a 2022 Taycan Turbo S (passenger display, burm, night vision, innodrive, sport pasm...) and it got built in a week earlier this month. Now at Emden waiting for a boat.

The delays are mainly at Long Beach and other container ports. The RORO ports of San Diego and Benicia don't seem to have ships waiting. My gut feeling is that we probably won't see major port congestion in terms of delays unloading the ships because production volumes have gone down due to the...
