Yes, it surprised me as well. I have a tire gauge and check them periodically. I’m guessing when they CPO’d the car they put brand new tires on the front and the rear tires had six or seven left on the tread depth which explains the difference. I also have no idea what the difference between...
My CPO came with Goodyears F1 Asymmetric 3's on the rear last year. The fronts have Asymmetric 5's. I've put 20,000 miles on them this past year and the rears now have about 3-4/32 so I will replace them soon. The fronts still have 6-7 and going strong after 20k miles. I am very satisfied...
I also installed the ScreenProTech anti glare myself. I ordered the pre-cut kit that covered all screens, power button and piano black sections. I watched a couple youtube videos how to install, pretty simple and came out perfect. No more fingerprints, literally I can't make fingerprints on...
That's the one I have as well and it works great. I'm not giving up a cup holder and this one that clips on the facia is easier to glance down at than the cupholder type. I just run the charge cable from the USB connection in the glovebox which is only about 10 inches. Very minimalist look to it
I don't notice any abnormal heat from the glass roof and I live in San Diego. It's heavily tinted and UV protected. As others said it does add a spacious feel and my passengers always comment on it. From the drivers seat you don't get as much from it. I do like the look of a painted roof on...
Just take it to an independent body shop. It’s my understanding Porsche has a general policy where they do not repair items whether mechanical or cosmetic, the policy is replace period.
Correct, just turn the fan down to off. Also, the car does not randomly turn on the AC but it does remember the last setting. For example, If you had the AC on and the fan set at level 3 on your last drive, it will come on at the same setting the next time you get in the car.
If its the the actual battery protective tray, the 2020-2024 models have a steel protective tray and it's my understanding that the 2025's and beyond are now made of a fiberglass/kevlar type of material. If the service advisor says it's not affecting any components I would just leave it as is...
My Taycan is 4 years old, 34,000 miles, in San Diego and no PPF just ceramic for ease of washing. If you get a foot away you would be able to find a few very small chips on the front bumper but other than that it's flawless. My car is also white so its super easy to do touch up. Dirty PPF edges...
You can order a brand new pair from Suncoast for around $50. When I purchased my 2022 CPO last year they were slightly yellow. Only because my car was white was it noticeable. They had several scratches and dents where they did their job protecting the paint. I removed them with a steamer and...
The "application" of the ceramic coating is not complicated and the product the detailers use anyone can purchase. It's the polishing and preparation of the paint with an orbital polisher which takes about 2 hours. That prep labor is most of what you are paying for when having it done by a...
Very nice! Looks like my car just newer. I would suggest a ceramic coating which is very easy to do by yourself, replace the yellow side markers with smoke colored ones($100) and easy to do yourself, dashcam (I have the fitcam and there are no wires or any obstructions in your front window)and...
Yea, I think that sounds about right. I’ve had Wawanesa insurance for about 30 years and as long as you have a good driving record they have great rates.
As mentioned insurance is variable depending on age, driving record, etc. but I pay around $2000 a year for my 2022 here in southern California. It's my wife's daily driver and she puts 12-15k miles per year on the car and we spend about $50-60 per month on home charging during super off peak...
I purchased mine out of state as well. I told the dealer I would pay the asking price if they shipped the car to me in an enclosed trailer at their cost and they agreed to do so. Everything went well and would not hesitate to do it again. Flying out and driving the car back is also a good idea...
Yes, it was before tax. I still go on Porsche finder to see what's available and most 2022's are in the mid to high 60's if they have the performance battery, well optioned and have low mileage. The CPO coverage is baked into the price but I would not want to own a Taycan out of warranty.
I got my 2022 CPO base, (15,000 miles) about 8 months ago for $68,000 but it was loaded with $47,000 of options and an original sticker of $130,000. That seems high based on the 117,000 original price.
It was an option on all models. I have a 2022 CPO base and the previous owner got the sport design package as a $5660.00 option. It also has the inlays on the sideskirts that match body color.
