The BMW adapters are a little smaller, have folks used them successfully? Is the car stable when lifted? I have a few BMW style adapters from my old cars, they definitely fit, but there is a bit of play. What is the experience others have with BMW adapters?

Very easy to do using the instructions above, takes a few minutes and saves a trip to dealer. My "Data Connection Settings" showed full signal and connected to Verizon, but also had the slashed icon on the right hand side of the screen... Annoying, but luckily, 12V disconnect fixed it.

Yes, 12V disconnect fixed LTE. Car reconnected to network immediately after 12V was connected back and PCM restarted (LTE was disconnected for 2 days prior to that)

Disconnected for 30min (per forum discussion to reset LTE). Yes, brake learning is via brake pedal, but how do you initiate routine from PCM?

I had to disconnect my 12V battery to fix my LTE connectivity. When reconnecting the battery, I got an alert to calibrate my brakes (as also described here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/how-to-disconnect-12v-battery.11322/). The message said that this step can be done later as well...

Thank you all for the instruction. Just received my car, sent the instructions to my dealer and they did the installation for me. The radar doesn't turn off when I lock the car. Is that normal? I thought it was switched 12V power and was expecting it would turn off when locking the car. Thanks!

Yes, I also found it very confusing, that's why I called Porsche NA when the dealer told me that a part needs to be replaced for a software update. They confirmed it, but it's definitely bizarre.

no, they didn’t. Both mentioned that some cars cannot be updated, and require a hardware change. New cars cannot be delivered without the update. I have read the same in some other forums: a part replacement was required for the software update.

My 2023 GTS cannot be delivered because it needs the WPN9 apparently. Been waiting for three weeks... dealer cannot get part needed from Porsche NA
