Fully agree with you here. OTA updates was either not on the list of requirements when the Taycan was in development or Porsche thought they'd be able to cobble something together later.

This final point highlights the real issue with OTA software updates, especially for Porsche: it's really complicated to ensure each ECU (many are safety critical) gets the correct code and works without problems with all the other ECUs. Remember also that every Taycan is pretty much unique so...

I moved from a Panamera with 18-way adaptive to a Taycan with 14-way comfort seats - even though the GTS had 18-way as standard whoever speced the car deleted them (or they weren't available at the time)! I loved the 18-way adaptive seats but I also find the 14-way comfort seats really good...

How many roofs cracked? - no idea, I'm only going on anecdotal evidence of people writing about their experience (and cost) here on the forum.

Panoramic roof? - from the driver's seat you don't even notice you have it. Plus: they break and the sculpted metal roof looks much cooler. Still, maybe I'm biased ;).

It's a buyer's market! There are plenty for sale so I'd suggest you don't jump for the first one you see - take your time and find one with the options you want.
