Yes we can set the charger at home to deliver less power to Taycan, I always set around 10-20A to the charger to charge all the night. To me DC = Fast charging, so as fast as possible to charge to 100%.

Can the Taycan be set to charge at a specific power level like Tesla? For example, if the charging station can deliver 11 kW power, but I only want to charge at 6 kW. Because I've tried to use the 220v/80a AC charger at public charging station, it provide 17Kw per hour with J1772 connector...

I think I found the root casue, Taycan only support 11 Kw AC with 2 phase. Which means 220V/50A. If you want reach faster AC charging you will need 3 pahse for example (32A/220V or 16A/220V)

Hi Dave, Did you know the maxaium Kw AC charger we can use? Because I use 220v/80A charger in the public parking, will always get failed messager after 10 mins. My Taycan is MT23, equip with 22 kW AC converter should be okay for 17Kw charger I think....

Hello Have anyone has the same experience about charginig fail when charging at 3rd party AC station. When I plug-in the charger to Taycan, they start to communication. After a while, the charging process began. Strange thing, after about 10 minutes of charging, the car screen displayed...
