Yes, my 2021 configurator (regular Taycan, not CT) blacks out that lower back panel in certain views, and it's clearly just a missing piece of the image...because I change views and voila! It's the right color again. :cool:

Yes, it's confusing because different Porsche models change MY at different times. But best I can ascertain, U.S. dealers will begin getting 2022 Taycan allocations around August, with first deliveries in Q4. I'm in line for the first 2022 Turbo allocation at my dealer...

I'm 6'5" and approaching 70 myself, and opposite to what you're saying, I find the Taycan WAY easier to get into/out of than my i8 (which - with the seat it its lowest/farthest back position - practically requires an acrobatic feat every time I have to get out!). :angel:

Thanks for all the useful info! Since then, I had to replace the furnace, and it's more efficient, so they replaced the 50A breaker with a 40A, and discovered a 30A that isn't being used at all, so I won't need to use a splitter after all! I've got an electrician coming next week to see whether...

Definitely. Cheaper vehicles presumably travel on the MV Viking Princess, Viking Duchess, and Viking Lady In Waiting. Only the top of the royal-babe-named-vessel heirarchy for us! :rock:

UPDATED PLAN: Ordered a JB40 with 14-50 plug from Costco for $599. I have a 30A fuse available, so I'm just Having a NEMA 14-30 wall outlet Installed by electrician, and will use a 14-50 to 14-30 adapter to plug in the JB40. Then I will program the JB40 to limit charging to 24A (80% of 30A)...

I discovered that you can add the premium pkg, and then pick an option that conflicts with it. When the screen pops up showing what your selection will remove, you can select to keep all premium pkg elements except the panorama roof. You don't save the price of the roof, but it's a way to get...

Maybe a dumb question, but I have a shocking (no pun intended) lack of electrical knowledge... Juicebox 32 says it's 32Amps. Does that mean it's "too much" for a 14-30 outlet (on a 30 amp circuit)? Also, if I've only got a 30-amp circuit, is the standard charger that comes with the Taycan...
