I doubt it because Porsche's charging planner displays charging stops enroute once you set a destination.
What was your %SOC during the search? I'm guessing it was pretty low because of the picture of the bubble size and since Cincinnati is only about 110 miles (177 km) from Indianapolis...
Porsche Arrowhead in Peoria is slated to open in Q2 2025. It'll be on the northeast corner of Loop 101 and Bell Road. Now those of us in the West Valley won't have to drive all the way over to the East Valley (Scottsdale or Chandler) for service.
It was a nice surprise seeing it when I drove...
FWIW I plan to keep my 2022 RWD for a long time, so I bought the 6 Year / 60,000 mile maintenance plan for US$4,675 in June 2022 from Porsche Chandler (a suburb of Phoenix AZ USA).
US$770 for the 2 Year / 20,000 mile service
US$1,830 for the 20K and 40K services
US$4,675 for the 20K, 40K, and...
OP, please include key details in future posts because it's easy to get 30 extra miles on a full charge by switching to RANGE mode and turning off any heating or A/C. I can't tell if you did it or not. That's why I always measure mine in NORMAL mode with the A/C on.
See my charts below. The...
Highly doubtful. Here are my 'gut feeling' observations:
(1) is too close to call. It's a simple solve with the Pythagorean Theorem and knowing the distance from the front-most part of the car to the front axle.
(2) won't work because the ramp slope is too steep and you'll damage the...
Haven't seen this problem before. Maybe unique to MY25? Keep us posted on this, including if the problem solves or does not solve itself by parking and locking the car and starting it up again an hour or so later. Good luck!
Great spec and I think the price is decent, but the text in your figure looks copied and pasted. Can the seller provide
-- a .pdf of the Monroney window sticker?
-- proof that the warranty is transferrable to you?
-- proof whether this vehicle is Porsche certified?
-- service records...
I also hope it's a trend, but that wasn't the case for me last month in Kingman Arizona USA where only one of the four chargers was working. Three or four were working in all my previous visits over the last two years.
Wow! I thought the car would shut down in a couple of blocks. Thanks for sharing.
But I bet she couldn't lock it (unless the spare fob was in your house)...
EA should start with making their chargers more reliable.
I think shutting off at 85% should be enacted when (a) all working chargers at a location are full and (b) other Level 3 chargers are within 150 miles in all directions on heavily-traveled routes. The extra miles gained when charging...
:) Thanks for letting me provide more detail.
The 35-mile drive from Prescott to Interstate 17 was hilly and had a dozen or so red lights, most of the downhill was on 39 miles of I-17, and the last 35 miles were mostly flat.
Those are some ludicrous numbers! Would be interesting to see how much the guess-o-meter increased during those drives.
But since you can't coast downhill forever, I think there should be a special category for trips over 100 miles. I don't think the rates shown above can be maintained for...
