Yes, 12V battery. The car sat at a facility near the factory from July to September and sat at Emden from September to November.

Closing the loop on the 9-month journey. Ordered April 2022, Picked up last Sunday… I know it’s not December anymore but the car did arrive at the dealership in December while I was out of the country. Timeline

My July built 2022 RWD that was waiting for the 12V left Emden in November and just got to the US west coast dealership last week.

Have you talked to Porsche Bellingham about the PPF yet? I believe they can do it for you and have it ready by the time you pickup your car from what I heard. For the windshield, I planned to go through my own insurance ($100 deductible), done it before with my Tesla.

I took an easy route and have Porsche Bellevue do the full front PPF, maybe more expensive than taking the car to do it myself but this way it’s ready when I come back and pickup the car. I didn’t do anything with windshield. Who is your dealership?

Yes, and I’ve completed all the paperwork on Monday 12/19 - I even have the insurance coverage started even though I won’t be driving the car yet. So Dec 2022 will be my “delivery date” on paper…

Yes, Bose was no longer an option that you can select for 2023 Taycan RWD. Other trim can still option it or has it as a standard. This has been going on for a while now. If you already have an allocation with Bose then you should be fine (until the dealership contact you saying that yours...

No, I would not as I'll be flying out of the country. I would just get to drive around a little bit in this freezing condition... :D This way maybe better, the dealership has ample time to do PDI and get PPF on for me and not do a rush job just to get the car delivered.

Good luck, and be prepared for the car to stay at the port a bit if it's MY2022. My 2022 RWD arrived in Benicia on Glovis Stella on 12/3, and just got released from the port on 12/18. MY2023 seems to be released quicker since it doesn't need uPdate to be performed.

The SA just told me that it’s on the truck, should be at the dealership in 2-3 days. Unfortunately I’m leaving town on Wednesday and won’t be back until second week of January. You all please enjoy your cars, I’m jealous!
