I did the same thing you are contemplating I did not like the 19 inch aeros on my 4S and found a brand new set of 20 Inch Panamera wheels for 1600 dollars of course without the tires and they look gorgeous but i have not been able to sell my Aeros with brand new tires on Ebay.So i still have...
yes you are pretty much the only one who likes those aero wheels. When I bought my 4S i was shocked how the aeros looked on my 130k car.I hastily replaced those with a set of 20 inch Panamera wheels i found on Ebay.I still have the 19 inch aero wheels with unused tires and if you need a...
yes the passenger side DC port will reach the the tsla cable no problem. However unless you have the 150KWATT/400 Volt option in your Taycan you will be very disapointed at the charging speed which will not exceed 50 Kwatts
I have 21 4S and plug and charge works seamlessly.I suspect that either you have not activated plug and charge or your Porsche account with a valid credit card
Agree I use the Porsche charger with no problems at all at 6 kwatts and 32 Amps. This is plenty to charge the battery to 85 % 90% of the time. One really does not need to charge at 9 Kwatts at home
The largest Porsche dealer in the world is located here in south florida ie Porsche Champion and i think the world of their technical department so I am going to follow up on this question of how many charging cycles the Taycan will allow. Will let you know the result
Totally agree I have the same experience leaving the car for weeks at a time and no significant change in both the SOC and the voltage of the 12 volt battery ie 13.4 Volts.
Very interesting but what would the rationale be for only 8 charge cycles if the main battery still has a decent charge? Also this assumes that the Porsche architecture is the same as Audi"s
yes of course 13.4 volts. However it does not make a lot of sense that six weeks is ok and then suddenly after eight weeks you have a dead 12 volt lithium battery.I maintain as long as you have a decent charge in your main battery you should not have a problem with your 12 volt battery.A lithium...
Scientifically it does not make sense that you would have a problem with a lithium battery which is charged all the time by a huge battery of 90 kwatts .As long as your main battery is charged halfway there should not be any problem with the 12 volt lithium battery. Most likely the people who...
Left my 4S last year for six weeks when i was in europe with an SOC of 85% and after I returned it was 84% and the lithium battery had not changed at all and was 12.4 Volts like it always is.There is so much nonsense being written about this lithium battery that I laugh everytime time i see a...
That was not the point of my post I am pointing out that after the software update my range has gone up from about 250 miles to 284 miles SOC at 100% charge. In other words the update has increased range significantly
See my post today after the major software update i am getting 284 miles at 100% SOC which is thirty miles more than before the update however i live in Florida were it is warm
I had the same experience with a road trip to hilton head from fort lauderdale.Plug and charge works fine on all the chargers i used but my transactions are not recorded in the Porsche application
