I will say while I do love the car no other car has beaten me down so much. I am truthfully at the point of just throwing in the towel. Tired of dealing with the constant issues. Now on my first Taycan I just said well guess I got a lemon. Two years of ownership with one year of that it being in...
Too expensive and too ugly for me. Not sure how they screwed this design up. Feels like the lead designer was a fan of the new M2 as it’s pretty boxy on the rear. I think the macan electric looks great should have just supersized that.
For a lease I wouldn’t care just let them do what’s fastest. If you plan to buy it push for a new battery as those other cells will fail. My shortest weight time for battery replacement was four months and my battery repair was five months long. Hopefullly it’s allot faster for you.
Thanks for the write up had this happened to both of my taycans. Just another reason to never own this out of warranty. Wish we had an independent like CT4 here in the states.
I guess that’s one way to look at it. I’m done buying new Porsches as I think their products are far too expensive for what they are. Will they care if I stop buying them no of course not but I’m done supporting the business model.
The Taycan was far too expensive when it first came to market. Now it is just in the stratosphere. Another price hike is so short sighted. They cant move them now with large discounts how is a price hike going to help anything.
I completely understand your thought process as I am in the same situation with my kids. Would much rather take them with me then go somewhere by myself. So I take the Taycan 80% of the time and the other 20% are the other four door cars I have. The fun cars never get used. However selling your...
Aren’t these sales actually just what’s sold to dealers and not what’s actually sold at the dealer? Porsche sells directly to the dealer at that point according to Porsche that is a sold vehicle all legacy manufacturers do this. The actual sales to customers are less. That’s how Porsche can say...
Porsche has just lost the plot on pricing. It’s through all their vehicles too not just the taycan. Seen a base 992.2 yesterday with an MSRP of $196k. Not sure how anyone can justify that for a base 911 that is easy 488 money. I can afford a new one but they are just not worth it to me at these...
Oh I don’t think everyone will have my experience. However if anything goes wrong you are stuck with Porsche service so any small thing that happens is a mid 5 figure bill. It’s not like the ice Porsches where we can go to independents we are stuck with Porsches exorbitant costs. If you only...
By service I meant warranty repairs. My first taycan in just two years of ownership required over 100k in warranty repairs and those are Porsches cost not owners. Second taycan has been in the shop since two days after delivery. Needless to say I have no faith in these vehicles. If you are fine...
I wouldn’t worry about them selling it out from under you. The fact is the buyer has way more power than the seller right now for taycans. There are also a ton for sale so just keep an eye out. Would also recommend at least a 4S but would push more for a turbo. Have had thousands of miles in all...
