As stated above run away from it. It will end up being a maintenance nightmare. There are plenty of taycans for sale to choose from. Consider yourself lucky that Porsche declined to cpo it.
I’m not buying the 2% from Porsche. If that’s the case why is it every time I go to my little dealer they have multiple cars waiting for replacement. Visited another dealer this week in a gen V store and was watching them replace one. The salesmen even mentioned there were another two waiting...
Mainly just used different brokers every year. Some enclosed some open never had a problem with any of them. Just make sure they are fully insured. Lately have just been doing open the cost for enclosed just doesn’t make sense anymore.
I did on my first taycan. 12 cell modules were replaced at a cost of 43k (Porsche Cost) then 8 months later it failed again with another couple modules going bad. Ended up replacing the entire pack. I’ve said it before but these module replacements are bandaids, the other ones will eventually fail.
Personally after buying my first Taycan and being on my second. No I would not recommend to buy one. Even outside of depreciation, service costs are far too much for this vehicle. Owning outside of battery warranty just is to risky in my eyes due to the known manufacturing faults of the battery...
It would not be covered by the 8 year battery warranty. This one is still sitting on the dealer lot unsure of its future as it failed 8 miles from delivery.
Just would happen at random. Dealer will install a software update and then order a new inverter. FYI they are back ordered till the end of the month. Make sure you take a picture of it the next time it happens
Roll the dice if you would like. My first Taycan turbo in two years of ownership had over a $100,000 in warranty repairs. This was also Porsches cost consumer would have been more. Now that I am on my second CPO Taycan, just within the first 10 miles I’ve already had a red drivetrain error. So I...
That’s common practice had to have it done on my first taycan for the battery repair and then another time when the battery was fully replaced. As long is it’s not a lease it doesn’t really matter. I would have Porsche deduct those miles from your lease if it is one. The techs get to drive allot...
Yes warranty is mandatory on this vehicle from my experience with it. That price is also astronomically high for two years it’s even high for four years. Just shop around
