I had 20 inch wheels before and then moved to 21 inch when my rear tyres wore out which was around 30k km (the fronts wore out around 22k km). I didn't notice a large difference between 20 and 21 although 21 is firmer, of course. It's still comfortable enough for me. Regarding the wear of the...
I didn't know there were official sizes from vossen. I bought them through an European importer. But I wanted the wheels to be less wide than the official 21inch as I don't need the extra width and reduced mileage that comes with that.
But your look better than mine. So I may have made a...
I've also moved from the original 20 to hf5 21 inch. I think it looks much better. Mine make the wheels too exposed, so I may have missed the width calculations. I've also painted the inside of the wheel brakes and it looks much better now.
That lower pillar piece is one of the mistakes on the original version. At least on my (CT 4s) it's such a low quality plastic that shouldn't be used in this kind of car.
The color is definitely quite different from pure white. Pure white is very bright in the sun, while ice grey is light grey with a blue hue in the sun. I still like this color as I had a pure white car before and think it's a bit bland. In any case, the care is still great in any color :)
I did the cabin filter replacement myself at 30k km. When the car was almost 2 year old (~35k km) it was serviced by the official dealer and was 105€. That was only the brake fluid change.
My roof was replaced late last year and now it's defective again. I'll have to got back to the dealer and wait for the part to arrive to be replaced...
In fact, I received my Taycan March 2022 and my daughter was 18-month old at the time. I drove around 18 months or more with the rear facing seat behind the passengers seat (and my wife is almost 180cm tall). So it was fine for that as well.
What I haven't have yet is a lot of trips with...
I have a CT4S with 3 year old and 5 year old children. Trunk space, leg room and space for the kids has been more than enough for day to day use and long trips once or twice per year. So the car is really more than enough for that.
I would only consider the other options if you really prefer...
I have a 4S CT with 21 inch Vossen wheels and, on long drives, rarely drive under 120km/h (75mph) or over 150km/h (93mph). I've done a few 300km (200mi) or 550km (340mi) trips and I've rarely seen averge consmption under 25kWh/100km (max 2.5mi/kWh) and have had averages up to 32kWh/100km...
I only use AA on my car and rarely the default porsche one. I leave that for long trips only. I use the previous track button very frequently using the macro button on the steering wheel and it works fine. I use back instead of forward because I listen to podcasts and sometimes I don't...
My car was is also waiting for the parts for this recall. It was in to repair small defects that were done the previous time it was there, but it has stayed waiting for parts for this recall.
My CT 4S is from March 2022. Late 2023 I hit 30k km. And thought the app and the dash information I understood the cabin filter had to be changed which I did myself. It cost something like 25 or 30 euros. Last month I nad the 2 year service and the after sales guy told me it ended only cabin...
Thanks for your update. My car has covers on both sides. On the left side there is a bracket for towing the car, but not the hole for the bike rack, unfortunately.
