Yeah, that really sucks.
I had a similar issue in a truck of mine where rodents did thousands of dollars of damage to the wiring. Insurance took care of everything. Hopefully your insurance will as well.
Good luck!
Yes. Wyoming is the worst. Ido see a lot of tesla's up there but nothing else. Commercial and oilfield trucking is the match to a combustible environment that is not friendly to our cars. I only drive my truck up there, trying to blend in...
Im sure the 911 was surprised that a lil ol' 4S could...
While doing some off-roading, I misjudged a dip and scraped the left front bumper and I think this flexed the bumper and broke the seal on the off road cladding, later causing the cladding to fly off at high speeds.
A rock totally smoked the windshield leaving a baseball size snowflake.
I...
After nearly 3 years of ownership, I finally took my car on an extended road trip. Ft. Collins to Telluride Co, 800 miles, all through the Rockies during the peak leave changing season. This is the kind of drive where you expect minor damage and hope to avoid major damage and I definitely...
There is a glitch with these cars that randomly keeps the car from accelerating. Search the forum, a few anecdotes of this happening to various members. It has happened to mine twice, a few years ago, hasn't happened since.
The '23 cross tourismo comes with the upgraded 93kw battery standard, plus the warranty... that alone justifies the $5k increase. I would also think the 23 has less miles, which may help on the reliability side of things.
Put your wheels of choice on it and you'll never look back.
I put the PS4S on about 2 months ago and noticed some differences right away. The previous tire was the Continental all seasons from Porsche, they had 16k miles on them. Obv going from a heavily worn tire to a brand new tire there will be noticeable differences. Noise was a little better with...
When I grow up, I want to be just like you👊
Being that you have been a proponent of tuning EV's. What does that entail when it comes to a Turbo GT? Any room for enhancements or customizations?
I steal my own car almost everyday, then drive it, like I stole it😏
If I couldn't afford one, I'd probably steal one and then return it with some watt money and a thank you note in the cup holder.
Quite sure I don't have innodrive and I'm not sure about adaptive. Not something I would have knowingly spec'd. I honestly haven't activated cruise once since owning the car.
This has happened to me twice in nearly 3 years of ownership. Exactly as described above. Not cruise related. Hasn't happened in well over a year, def unnerving and a safety issue when happening.
My dealership is small and has always had a lax attitude towards loaners. I don't even sign a loaner agreement. They just copy my license and throw me the keys. Although, they did just sell to Indigo Auto group so things may be changing. I always was waiting for someone to say something to me...
I look forward to taking my car in for these recalls. I schedule my long work road trips during the service window and take the loaner car. I've probably put close to 10,000 miles on loaners instead of my cars.
I guess this is a perspective issue.
While my 23' CT4S does not let water in, I can see how it could be a problem.
You might want to try wiping the seals down with WD40 or a heavy duty silicone spray. If your problem is solely a design flaw this may not help but if the seals are dirty and worn it might help.
A couple years ago a body shop ran a system diagnostic on my car before working on it. The list of noted faults was 4 pages long, single spaced. The car was only 6 months old at the time. None of these faults ever displayed in the car and eventually cleared themselves. This made me think the car...
