Ideal drag race re 4S and RWD

I would love to see one of those drag racing videos (and other head to head comparisons) with these match ups: RWD vs 4S RWD with PB using sports mode vs RWD with PB+ using sport plus Who can make this happen??? As some folks have mentioned, some of the PB performance stats dont make a lot...

Anyone have standard battery in Taycan RWD? Feedback?

Nivek shares some really interesting considerations, cast doubt again whether I need PB+

    Amount/quality of leather in Taycan

Do tell. How do you access that? Is that a chassis option from center panel? Boy, this would seal the deal on not getting chrono for me. Money better spent on rear steering.

    Amount/quality of leather in Taycan

Sticking with RWD, but definitely getting air suspension. I am beginning to question need for sports chrono on RWD. I think pressing sport button will get me that sportier drive without need for Sport Plus. So you are saying you think standard interior limestone will look good?

    Amount/quality of leather in Taycan

Whether to get full leather vs. standard right now is one of my most difficult decisions for my Gentian Blue RWD. My wife has limited my options to limestone beige or black (or gray but eh!). She won't go with chalk (or even the Olea Beige) as she doesn't like the two tones in the seats. No...

    RWD Sport vs Sports Plus

Thank you. That is helpful, but wondering if that is more geared toward a Turbo or even a 4S. With the RWD, not sure if you can tell a big difference.

    RWD Sport vs Sports Plus

So PSM only comes with Chrono option?

    RWD Sport vs Sports Plus

I may be dense....having trouble understanding this. Would someone be able to boil down for me? Is PSM Sport Mode what happens when I press the Sport button on the RWD (with no Sport Chrono)? Are you saying that it is much more limited than if I accessed it from Chrono? I can still adjust...

    RWD Sport vs Sports Plus

Greetings! I just drove a RWD without sports chrono. I hit the sport mode button on screen (super easy to do) and was able to do launch control. While the Chassis has a "sports plus" function, I understand it is not a true sport plus function that can only be obtained if you have the sports...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

Ok. After test driving the 4S this weekend, I was just able to spend some good time test driving a RWD again this morning. It sealed my decision that the RWD is the right car for me. While the 0-60 was noticeably slower, I tend to agree with one reviewer I saw that said it is actually more fun...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

Ha! That is not what I want to hear, but I plan to show your comment to my wife. Actually, a lot of folks on the Gentian Blue group on this forum recommend the limestone beige. I actually like the color, but feel it is on TOO many surfaces (all of the doors, back of seats). I like the...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

I saw someone's Gentian Blue parked outside in the sun and it is gorgeous. Definitely the color I am going with. Now if I can only nail down my decision on interior. I like Chalk. Wife likes Limestone Beige. I saw standard Limestone Beige this weekend and it wasn't too bad...but Chalk!!

Trying to decide which battery for our 4S build.

That is actually a pretty interesting argument and way to look at it. Down the road, you surely will recoup at least some of the costs, so if you can afford it now, it may be worth optioning. I plan to keep my Taycan for a long time, so it is hard to make decisions today on a "not needed but...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

So I got a chance to test drive the 4S this weekend. Wow! It is a beast. It has way more power than I need on a daily basis. In fact, I really dont see a scenario where that level of power can be used for city driving. I feel like I would be frustrated that I could never lay it out to its full...

Good Taycan Cross Turismo review by Porsche Chester

Well that is confusing. I am arguing with my wife over getting the (US) limestone beige vs chalk. I kind of like the chalk more because of there is more contrasting black (back of seats, doors, rear seats, etc.) but she says it looks too cheap.

Good Taycan Cross Turismo review by Porsche Chester

I am pretty sure interior is limestone beige, not chalk. Chalk has black on back of seats

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

Those are fair questions. So I wanted to move to an EV for a number of reason and realized I really need to upgrade my current car. I test drove a Tesla but didn't enjoy how it handled (hated the braking). I also didn't like how it looked. Then I went to look at E-Tron Sportback and test...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

Just reading back through this post and it appears that 12-13 RWD owners do not regret their decision. 2 RWD owners seems happy but "felt more performance would be nice" and would have liked the 4S for better "launch control/speed". A few 4S owners also expressed their views why 4S is better...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

Good point. However there seems to be a number of folks here that have traded in their Taycan to get newer ones. Interesting to see if the upgrade/downgrade model or add/remove options. Some of the most divisive options I find on here on electric sound, interior selection and sports chrono...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

That doesn't sound right. Everything I read is the RWD without PB+ gets much more than that.
