Does adding full leather change the back of the front seats? That looks like the biggest plasticy part in photos and would seem to affect anyone sitting in the back seat the most. Configurator says only:
Seat bolsters (front and rear)
Headrests (front and rear)
Dashboard upper, front and lower...
You guys are killing me. :swear: Just when I was about to finalize my call on standard. LOL
I recall my dealer did tell me adding the Olea added quite a bit of weight to the car, like a few hundred pounds. Not sure if there is a difference in weight with full leather vs. Olea. Don't know if...
From the photos, that standard interior looks fantastic to me!
Looks like you got the dark silver accent. Hard to tell if that makes much of a difference. Do you feel it was worth it as opposed to just having those few features black?
I am not coming from leather car but wife has a very nice leather Highlander. A lot more surfaces though.
I wish I had cars locally to see the difference. From photos, looks like primarily the addition of stitching.
I think I have decided for my Gentian Blue RWD to go Beige interior based on comments here.
Is the full leather worth the $4700 upgrade? I am thinking no and that money is better spent on other options.
The future is now thanks to science. Hopefully the app works with Android. I saw something in options menu that the remote parking is only for Apple. However, looks like Porsche Connect is in the Playstore.
Thanks for all the info!
This is my concern. I don't think I really need ACC for $2050, but I would be kicking myself if a new feature is released (or improvements are made) that require the sensor. So I am considering getting it to future proof the car (as well as to enjoy the ACC from time to time).
That is...
Greeting neighbor! Hope the red tide doesn't make it down your way.
2) I am actually thinking of going with beige interior now (instead of grey). Seems nice with the Gentian Blue, so not sure I need the accents now.
3) I am sure not needed, but sounds nice!
5) Interesting. My friend said people...
Hmmm. This gives me a lot to think about. I initially leaned toward beige. What are your thoughts on reflection issues? I heard that can be an issue in sunny places like Florida with light interiors.
I am likely going to select Gentian Blue. Probably just going to go with standard interior. Any opinions if black or grey interior goes better with Gentian? I was thinking of also getting the dark silver accents to give it a little pop.
I was watching a video where it says that Innodrive requires a camera/sensor near top of windshield, so wondering how this can be added FOD without installing equipment (so long as you have ACC sensor in bumpet). Anyone know?
Also, it seems ordering FOD later is less expensive than selecting...
Greetings!
Can't wait for my Taycan RWD. Here are options I have already selected:
Gentian Blue, Standard Interior in Grey, Premium Package, Air Suspension, Sport Chrono, 20" Taycan Turbo wheels.
Here are my questions:
1) ACC/Innodrive. I am not a daily driver. Probably on freeway only...
