Well that did not work. Plugged the adap Well that didn’t work. Plugged the phone in the adapter and the CarPlay screen never appeared. Went to 192.168.50.2 anyway but would not connect to the server. I guess it is dead. Also tried plugging directly into the computer with no luck.

Died. Although the red light is with the device, it no longer displays on my car. Nothing on the screen and no connection to the phone. I have also put in a new USB to USB c adaptor. I know that car play does work because when my phone is plugged in via cable no problem at all.
