So far as I know you can get a Macan via Porsche assist when the heater dies this time of year, as it’s a safety issue in winter. It’ll keep you mobile at least…. my 2023 is on its second now (each failure occurs November) so I’m looking forward to another failure again next year

Only really whether it’s a known thing with a recall/campaign or known solution I have this evening figured out it’s related to the actuation of the latch not finishing correctly. Fettling with it temporarily solves the issue

Hi, My CT has been a total disaster since delivery, the most recent issue is that the powered tailgate does not work. The latch is released and boot pops open enough to get your finger in and open it manually, but the motors are doing nothing. This is the same when using the in car controls...

For sure it was very comfortable, and I’d have no doubt been more amenable to it had I not just taken delivery of an immediately defective car :)

Update: I’m due to take the car in for the bodywork issue to be rectified. I have been assured this will be sorted whilst I wait, and if it cannot be then a car will be provided. Porsche GB have said they will intervene as needed to ensure a car is provided (hopefully not a 2.0T Macan this...

I have now heard back from Porsche GB and managed to get hold of someone responsive at Tewkesbury. Progress is slowly being made. Porsche GBs response does make it seem like they are taking it very seriously. I will keep you all posted!

Yep my thoughts exactly. BMW took way better care of me, even when things went very wrong. Picking the car back up now with just the bodywork item to fix by all accounts. Radio silence from team Tewkesbury since my call earlier. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Sat at my local dealer now...

Be very careful. I was messed around with dates and eventually when they delivered it the heater was already broken and the bodywork defect was immediately visible. I would currently be very reluctant to make the same purchasing decision again.

Brief update. Took delivery last week. Heater is dead on arrival. It’s now at my local dealer for that and a collection of other issues. so much for the 111 point check!

Thank you. Colour wise I’m looking for black interior and no silver trim on the outside. Seems to be very few and far between! Lots of red interiors for some reason… As for the main colour, Jet Black, Volcano Grey or Crayon are all viable
