Tyres are important, obviously. And the differences are huge.
Also, N classification is relevant if you drive fast, respectively brake from high speeds. Not in the UK, I guess…
I have all the tech drive options, which is good – RWS, PDCC, …
while keeping it low in the software stuff. Don't like 360° view etc. either.
This turned out perfect.
Pretty happy, what needs to be improved:
* the App is bad and doesn't do much
* the fade over between recup and physical brakes isn't too good
What I really like is handling, ride quality, performance.
This is only possible b/ the car is wide and long, massive tires etc.m which in turn result...
That can only happen if a mechanic made a mistake.
Had this in an Audi once, and the mechanic assembled sth wrong.
Not a structural or systematic problem.
Good thinking to related the question to the very basics of economics!
However, if I may say so, it sounds a bit as if you would like to emotional decision to buy a new Taycan with hindsight economics ;-)
What might (tremendously) affect the depreciation with EVs is technological advancements...
I switched from 20" to 21" summer tires.
Was quite surprised that the difference in range is super small. While the handling difference is significant.
The improvements are under the hood…and those changes are massive.
I probably won't switch but mostly b/ of the EU mandatory limitations & surveillance introduced last year.
