Some advantages living in the south are almost 70 degrees in the middle of November. The Brumos Collection is having a Saturday Social tomorrow, so can’t arrive with a dirty car.
Stopped at an Electrify America in Brunswick, Ga for a quick charge tonight on the way home from St Simons Island. All 4 chargers were operational, I pulled up with a Mach-E charging on one of the 350 kw units. I connected to the other 350 and started charging. Talked to the Mach-E owner for...
Different scale but something to think about. When the Prius came out 20 or so years ago, it cost $4K. No one knew how long the batteries would last and estimates of battery replacement at that time were $4K. In other words, the car would be a write-off. Fast forward and many Prius’s running...
Spent about 20k more than my original budget, got everything I wanted and do NOT regret anything. Can’t wipe the smile off my face every time I drive it!
I had two recalls (first being the charging cable which Porsche has already sent me a $555 dollar check) and for the WPS9 (Thermal Management Control Unit Re-program) completed and now the app is not communicating with the car. Trying to charge in my garage or pre-cool I get an error message on...
I had the WPS9 and APB6 recalls completed this past week. They inspected the brake lines (ARB0), but did not have spares yet. Pictures of the new cable
Measured mine and got 41.75” long x 35.5” wide x 18” high with cover. Add about 6” if the cover is removed, that is the shortest height near the hatch because of the roof slope. My golf clubs fit in diagonal barely.
I have a 24 CT4 with almost 8,000 miles over 8 months and have had no issues. I feel terrible for those that are having problems, especially those that the dealer cannot replicate or repair. Going in on Tuesday to Porsche Jacksonville for 2 recalls (Charging Cable and Thermal Control Unit...
Appears that fitting instead of being straight should be at an angle (30, 45 or 60 degrees). This should be easy to determine the angle via computer simulation with the suspension at full compression and full extension.
7 reported occurrences with NO accidents and secondary braking still operational. Sounds to me like Porsche is being very conservative and getting ahead of a possible issue before an accident occurs. As an engineer, when we discovered an issue, we resolved it as quickly as possible. Thank you...
absolutely agree, a separate post had someone discussing how great a deal they got on a Chinese made Tesla Tap that was $40 vs. the couple hundred for the US made real thing. They don’t understand China wants to destroy us a little bit at a time.
