It is worth checking out to get all the numbers. CA is really creative with charging for permits and inspections and permits for an inspection and inspection fees for a permit, and this is an installation for a luxury good, so I think maybe the rates are higher than if I needed a dryer outlet...
It was suggested on Facebook that it is better to contact the 1-800 porsche number to escalate these types of issues with the app and with EA. The idea is that corporate needs to know that there is a fundamental issue that is stopping people from charging and using the car. Just registering an...
Thanks, didn't know that about the baseline.
Yeah, the off peak rate is around $0.18, but the tradeoff is $0.48 rates for peak and $0.37 for part-peak. I don't know if a separate meter is worth it, but I don't want to be the dad who is encouraging family not to use appliances from 3pm-12am...
That is a crazy low rate. Continues to weep here in CA.
The cost for a separate meter here between installation, permits, inspection, can be as high as $2500. You just need to do the math to see where the break even is. Seems there also is a monthly charge at Coned of another $16 for the...
This is the thread which causes me to weep...
Off Peak - $0.216
But if I go over my baseline allotment, it goes up to $0.29 and more...
And this is an older "grandfathered" rate.
California.
You said it was Porsche's first electric car. His first electric car was the P1.
Since you can be that guy too, if you wanted to precisely refer to the company you should have said it was Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG's first car ;) Using a crest and logotype doesn't that much since they can...
By the way, you don’t even need to press the button. You can just swipe in the up or down direction you want and it will change the temp.
Although that is fun, I use the voice control most of the time.
Easy, peasy.
Took me a while too!
Go to the bottom left, click on “Explore”.
That will pull up your car on the map.
Click on the charger near you (presumably where your car is now) and then you can select “start charging“ - select the specific “charger stall” and off you go.
In addition, if you aren’t at...
I have had similar issues. In addition, when I try to charge even after logging in, it does not appear to work.
I charge now using the Porsche Connect app instead.
No solution except to let them know there is a problem and hope for an update.
Isn't the question whether the car provides internet service via the hotspot? I have always been able connect to the hotspot, but I never got internet service through it.
You may want to look into the new 900x
Unless you park for long periods of time outside, It seems I may not need the battery pack as much since it has a voltage cut off, a timer and ability to turn off via the app
I was thinking thinking of the case where I would be parking the car in my...
Well, it was part of the marketing/sales material so I expect so. My guess (hope) is that it will show up soon especially since the code obviously is ready.
How was the trip itself? I was thinking of doing that, just for the heck of it (I have no business or home in Vegas).
Anything scenic or interesting along the way? I have never made that trip.
thanks
Not for me, there isn't.
Besides, companies have different departments with people of different skill sets and heck, maybe a lot of this work was done by Apple. I am sure the engineers are working hard to continuously improve the product.
Btw, I just saw in the Charging NA app u under vehicle...
