I've heard of some issues with the OEM dashcam, so that's why I'm opting for an aftermarket one. Warranty-wise, shouldn't be that big of an issue? I've asked the dealership and they basically said it won't affect it.

I'm based in the GTA in Ontario, and around ten different installers straight up refused to hardwire a dashcam stating that it would be either bad for the 12 V battery, blow a fuse, or is somehow bad for the car. I find it hard to believe that when so many people already have hardwired dashcams...
