  1. US: Tesla Prices Climb as the Rest of the EV Market Falls - article

That kind of makes sense. Everybody was talking about what a great value these cars are last year. Now I’m seeing them daily in my suburb of Seattle. It’s great to see people appreciating the Taycan but the days of crazy deals are potentially behind us.
  2. Has Taycan Depreciation Changed the Porsche Experience?

Exclusivity has never been a conscious reason for me to enjoy something. Why should I like something I have because other people don’t? I enjoy it because it’s fun to drive, the best color car I’ve ever seen, and better for the environment than similar cars. The fact that it lost so much value...
  3. Not a D*m Issue!

People are way more likely to complain online about something than to talk about how problem-free it is because it inherently isn’t on their mind. My window doesn’t like opening and closing perfectly but besides that, I’m problem free also, though I’m only 1,000 miles in.
  4. The Taycan is better looking than the 911

It’s a personal preference but I don’t think I’ll ever see a 4-door sedan that looks better than a comparable 2-door. The Cayman is the best looking to me but I got the Taycan because we needed a new car that could fit car seats and it’s the best looking sedan I’ve ever seen. That said, our 3rd...
  5. Fake gear shifts coming to 2027 Taycan (and big PCM update)!

I wouldn’t say most people, but I bought a Taycan because it’s a Porsche and electric. I’ve been waiting for the 718EV but needed a car. I might one day get a classic 911 when my kids are grown up but short of that, I’ll never own a gas car again. Definitely a contingent of Taycan owners that...
  6. 100% charge on dealer floor

A high spec low trim is ideal for someone who wants a luxury car but doesn’t care about extreme performance. The base model already has insane performance.
  7. Taycan 4s Gen2 - range

You have performance battery plus? Check the window sticker if you still have it. Also, what is your average driving efficiency in m/kWh? You can multiply that by 97 for plus or 80 for the smaller battery and that tells you what range you should expect. What size wheels do you have? And is it...
  8. Considering 1st EV but...

I’ve been driving a mach e for 4 years with charging at the office. It has lower clearance than a corolla and I’ve driven it 50k miles without any issue with the bottom chassis. The Taycan is a bit lower than the mach E (except in lift mode), so it should be fine. The long term maintenance...
  9. Can I remove a badge from PPF?

Hey everyone, I’m taking delivery of a CPO Taycan 4s that came from North Carolina all the way to Washington State. The dealer applied Llumar PPF and I asked them to keep off the badges. They said they kept my badges off but the shipping pictures showed the “electric” badges removed but the...
  10. Mach-E GTPE to Taycan 4S

I’m upgrading from a 21 Mach E premium AWD extended battery so the performance is much better on the 2024 taycan 4s. It’s not here yet but I test drove one locally. 4.8s 0-60 felt incredible on the Mach E and 3.8s is even better! Definitely wish I had the facelift with active ride for the...
