I don’t know why Porsche have both of these available? I didn’t know about the Connect version until Income across it.
I find the connect version much better:
- connect tells me speed of charge
-I can plan routes in Connect
- connect has iPhones widgets
Things I wish they did:
- tell me...
it’s not a trickle, it’s zero, I measured the current going to the charger.
I think this whole thing with ‘charger’ is a bit strange - technically it’s a device that allows the car to draw AC current, measures it, and communicates with the car to manage the charging. I think that is a charger...
surly though with no profile or timers it should charge to 100%? I have set the timers and profiles like your suggested, so now it’s ‘paused’. I did press the ‘Direct Charging’ option, and it went green - and to 0kW again. If it does not charge by morning I will try another charger.
Posts crossed, yes I will do the Setting you suggest, but I don’t understand why the car needs to be told this through those settings. If I was on the road and needed a full charge I don’t want to be doing this to get there.
Phase, 32A circuit to. 7.2kW charge, was running at 6.7kW.
Thanks - but it’s been on 24 hours now, the time just keeps extending out (see attached).
We are backto Working from home in the UK again, so no predictable times at all! But I do manually preheat using the app.
My CT 4 seems to only charge to 97% on a 7kW charger.
Charging slows to 2kW, then seems to stop. Anyone know what could be causing this? Sometimes I need the extra 3%...!
I didn't specify the 150kW charger, as I was told there are very few 400v charger's in the UK (50kW or 800V 350kW). Well after sitting connected to a 150kW charger last night charging at 60kW because the Ionity ones were broken, I know I have made an error.
It is possible to retrofit the 150kW...
Hello,
I have a UK CT4. I am confused by the power ratings - when I look on the Porsche online portal for my car, it states "Overboost power with Launch Control up to 350kW/476hp" - What does this mean?
I don't think I have Launch Control (when I put the car into sports mode, left foot foot on...
Hello all,
I got my new Taycan 4 CT last week and thought I would share my initial thoughts to help those thinking about one.
Spec is pretty basic – Volcano grey with the Turbo S wheels, 4+1, Boose sound system, Ambient lighting and driver memory package, privacy glass.
I am very happy with...
Hello all,
I am located in the UK (SE).
Its new car time, and with the BIK changes in the UK the obvious choice is a Tycan. I work in the EV sector, so am committed to a new EV. I test drove the EQC, Model S, Model 3, e-tron, i-Pace and the Tycan (Saloon), and the Tycan is the best for me...
