I’m toying with the idea of getting another taycan, the i4 just isn’t cutting the mustard but the one I’ve seen isn’t from an OPC. My local OPC want over £400 for the 111 point check before I can purchase the extended warranty. I’m happy to travel if anyone knows a cheaper route?
Had an incident with a lamppost yesterday, think it’s a write off? Windscreens broken, Roofs cracked too, mirror damaged, charging port hand gesture broken, alloy dented
Mines gone in today for its 5 heater and a new charging port but they’ve told me they’ll only fit an 11kw port as there are no 22kw available. They’ll compensate me and have the car in again when the 22s are available.
They’ve also put it in privacy mode for some reason while they have it.
I had a small clock symbol flash up on the left had main screen just under the speed limit sign. Never seen it before or since but wondered what it meant. Can’t find it listed anywhere.
I’ve searched quickly and couldn’t see a similar post.
A couple of times now I’ve pressed the boot close / lock button to lock the car, which it did then I get a beep and it unlocks. Nothing in the way. I also had my wife waiting for me in the car another time and the boot opened itself.

Mines been in to Porsche for a couple of minor fixes, updates etc but they’ve said the cooling fans have seized.
I’ve not heard of this issue before, has anyone else?
I’ve had my Taycan about 12 months now but only noticed recently that the recuperation is almost nonexistent in the morning. The power meter moves barely into the green, whether I precondition or not makes no difference.
It does eventually start to work but takes over 30 minutes or more.
is...
I’m just curious if any of you regret buying / leasing your Taycan ?
I’ve got to say as much as I love the car I’m starting to get increasingly annoyed by the crappy quality in some areas, the app that works most of the time but not all of the time (can’t precondition today) and the blatant...
It’s gone. It’s listed on my phone as added to my CarPlay screen but isn’t there. It went after the car went to Porsche for a recall and software update.
When I enter my vehicles registration details it says I don’t have to pay ULEZ but do have to pay the congestion charge.
I was under the impression that it was still current free for EV’s ?
I suspect my pads need changing, I’m getting a slight “wearing” noise not a grinding or squeaking but I would have thought they’d be some kind of warning light?
My 21 plate RWD Taycan has developed a rumbling noise that’s particularly noticeable at speed. It’s similar to having a flat tyre without the vibration. Anyone had similar issues?
German engineering at its finest.
It snowed a little here today in Sheffield. I put my car on the drive, applied the parking brake only for the car to slide down the drive, straight through the six foot wooden gates.
Not a scratch !
