My Taycan Turbo made it to Davisville 6/30, where it sat until it was finally delivered to my dealer on Saturday 7/18. The Tech that does Taycans happened to be off Saturday (poor guys have to work some Saturdays) so it was agreed the car would be ready for delivery around noon on Monday...
So I installed the charger. Already had bought 6/3 NM-B from eBay, then went to Home Depot for the other stuff I needed. 5 hours later here’s the end result:
After 2 1/2 weeks sitting at the port of Davisville, RI, my Taycan Turbo finally showed up today! The only trained Taycan Tech is off today so it will be Monday before I can pick it up. But as everyone can imagine I am STOKED!! Here are a few pictures in the meantime.
My incoming Turbo has Mission E wheels, but with M&S tires. I would think a car with amazing performance like the Taycan really needs summer (performance) tires. So I’m thinking about buying another set of Mission E wheels, but with summer tires. I’d appreciate thoughts from those who are...

I have been watching the Siem Confucius since it left Emden last week, using the MarineTraffic app. Today I happened to glance at its progress and saw that about noon or so it had made a hard turn to the left and then it pretty much stopped, appearing to drift with ocean currents. And 9 hours...
Would like opinions from those that have operated a Taycan for a while. Specifically, if you could do it again would you still buy it? My Taycan will serve two purposes when and if I take delivery: it will be a sports car, and it will also be my daily driver for running errands, etc. My kids...
