Anyone swapped a steering wheel over?

Yes I had it on the original wheel so it works properly.

    Anyone wrapped their front splitter?

First, it needs to be painted. I just did it in gloss black, and the result is so good that I'm not sure I'll do a carbon fiber look wrap...

Anyone swapped a steering wheel over?

I did it and I'm delighted with the result; it feels much better in the hands. But it still represents a fair amount of work.

    Screen Protector for Taycan

I have just made few tests, none of the AliExpress protectors have the exact dimensions... A pro placed the XPEL few days ago but doesn't look great so I removed them. I tried this morning the Brotect and the fitting is perfect and so easy, I took me 10 seconds. There's practically no difference...

    Screen Protector for Taycan

The problem is not in the corners, but across the entire surface (loss of contrast and brightness). I was thinking of glass because it has a higher constringence (Abbe number), meaning it disperses light less into colors (chromatic aberration). This provides sharper vision and less distortion.

    Screen Protector for Taycan

I've tried different screen protectors (PPF, Nano, rigid or not, ...) and none of them are satisfactory. I think the problem is that they're all made of plastic. In indirect light, everything is fine. But when the sun shines directly on it, the diffraction in the plastic makes the screen...

Why do so many people want a Taycan to be more like Tesla?

135,000 miles in my Tesla P100D without problems, and it still drives perfectly. I hope my GTS will be as reliable !

    800hp Taycan GTS

So 80-120 km/h in 1.5 seconds (instead of 2.1 stock). 100-200 km/h in 5.99 seconds (instead of 8.3 stock). Almost one second faster than Turbo S, very impressive ! Big benefit above 80 km/h, thanks for sharing.

    800hp Taycan GTS

Here the e-Tron GT RS (same motors than Taycan GTS), with the same mod. 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and 0-124 mph in 8.9 seconds :

    800hp Taycan GTS

    Hello, Does anyone have the HGP software ? Results are impressive : 100 - 200 km/h (62 to 124 mph) in 6.1 ~ 6.3 seconds (vs 8.3 seconds stock). Power 800+ hp full time (not only in launch mode). Torque 1050 Nm (vs 850 Nm stock). Top speed (speedometer) : 278 km/h (172.7 mph). 0 - 100 km/h (0...

One week after 6 years in Tesla Model S to Taycan Turbo

Agree, I drove an s75 last year and it was very noisy. The materials seemed of very poor quality, and nothing seemed properly attached. It was shaking all over... Really no comparison with recent models.

One week after 6 years in Tesla Model S to Taycan Turbo

The RWD is definitely too slow after living with a Tesla. It's just not possible anymore... You need at least 4S.

    Taycan 4S vs GTS

    - specific damper calibration. - 20 % stiffer anti-roll bars front and rear. - higher spring rates. - the three-chamber air suspension setup now uses all three chambers only for Normal mode, with Sport and Sport Plus both reverting to a single chamber, unlike the 4S. Edmunds : You really feel...

    Taycan 4S vs GTS

It cannot be based on measurements made under different conditions. Car and Driver tested them in the same conditions : 3.1 vs 3.4. Porsche confirms : 3.5 vs 3.8. So if we want to be precise, it is therefore exactly 0.3. Anyway, in everyday use, it is the torque that is important. 30% more...

    Taycan 4S vs GTS

0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) is more interesting : 13.3 seconds for the 4S, and 12.0 seconds for the GTS.

One week after 6 years in Tesla Model S to Taycan Turbo

The measurements confirm it : noise at 50 mph is 64.8 dB for Taycan 4S , 64.6 for Tesla P and 62.2 for the new Plaid. Regarding performances, after testing the Plaid, it is especially above 60 mph that Tesla is significantly faster. And trunk space and back seat space are much smaller than Model...
