Update: the recall completed all brake and hose servicing.

The Front brake line recall does NOT flush the fluid in the rear brakes. That was via the technician who performed my 20K maintenance

New 20” Michelin Primacy Tour All Season on CT4

The Michelins are a little quieter, buts that’s comparing them to worn Continentals. The difference between them is very small.

New 20” Michelin Primacy Tour All Season on CT4

They didn’t say, but that was the only space open. They did an excellent job and only took 40 minor so.

New 20” Michelin Primacy Tour All Season on CT4

I stayed around 39 front and 42 back. Drove in a little snow this past December coming back from Pennsylvania, but no deep snow. The Continentals did well in that scenario. Just thought I would try the Michelins this time.

New 20” Michelin Primacy Tour All Season on CT4

They were down to about 4/32“. Could have gone a little longer, but we normally get a good amount of rain in SE Ga. and I didn’t want to take a chance getting into a situation where I got into an accident because my tire were worn.

Moved this to a new thread: I thought it would be interesting to review this great post from October 2020 and compare how things were then to today February 2026 regarding long trips. First and foremost: Folks need to understand that you NEVER travel anywhere NEAR your total range capacity as...

New 20” Michelin Primacy Tour All Season on CT4

I got almost 29,000 miles on the original Continental Procontact RX All Seasons. That appears to be better than most have achieved. I am assuming that’s because of all the highway miles I traveled vice trying to track my Taycan. The Continentals were ok, but the reviews on Tire Rack for the...

I need opinions & guidance on Continental ProContact RX all seasons

I’m running 20” Procontacts on my 2024 CT4. I have 28,000 miles on them, mostly highway miles. They’ve been OK, but nothing exceptional. Since I live in the south, snow is not a big issue, I don’t track it, but handing in the rain is important. I’m replacing them with Michelin Primacy Tour...

How good is your Taycan at winter?

Coming back to Ga from Pa the first week of Dec, traveled through wet snow in Virginia and the top half of N. Carolina. Got a message that adaptive cruise was no longer active and when I stopped at a rest stop saw why. Started cleaning the wet snow off the front and took a picture.

What would you like to see in a Taycan refresh (SSP Sport / J2)

Back to what I’d like to see next gen: Go back to the tear drop headlights from J1. I love the look and there is nothing else like it on the roads. Better backup camera. Switches vice touch controls for climate controls and radio. Larger screen for the GPS. I like the center stack design on...

From Macan EV to Taycan J1.2

I have a 2024 CT4 with 27,000 miles on it with no issues other than the recalls which were completed by the dealer. You can’t wipe the smile off my face after driving it. Two years later and I still get positive compliments and questions wherever I‘m at. 😎
