Think of it as a little 'cheer up' gesture from Porsche for when your nav stops working and you're stuck without a charge—at least you can binge-watch the newest Disney+ shows.
Nice car, but my concern is that its gonna repeat Taycan‘s fate in losing 50% of its value in 2-3 years. Way too expensive on the cooling EV market and range not as impressive as the one in iX3 etc
Looks amazing) went to Bergen this summer and do remember having to wait a few times at the charging stations) at least you guys have loads of them compared to places like south of Italy of some parts of eastern Europe:)
I am replacing mine with Panamera 4 e hybrid! Despite of all the fun I had driving electric for 3 years, i just don't feel like the car suits my long journeys. Just fed up with public chargers not working or even Ionity having sometimes to try 2-3 chargers before it starts charging wasting time...
Exact same situation here. I took mine to the Porsche dealer for service this Tuesday — they reassured me that a software update would resolve it 100% 😂
Drove home for about an hour (70 km) without any crashes. The next day I had another long trip, and it started crashing again just five...
If there are recurring issues with charging hardware, heaters, software, etc., buyers factor that in — even if casual owners don’t talk about it outside forums. Used prices reflect confidence. And heavy depreciation usually signals that confidence isn’t exactly strong. When u bring your car back...
I completely agree — it’s utterly disappointing how Porsche is treating Taycan customers, especially considering the significant financial hit many of us have had to absorb. At the time, we didn’t know, but looking at the situation now, it seems irrational to buy a new Taycan.
Dealer lots are...
Guys, before I head to PZ for service next week just wanted to check here what is currently the best strategy? Get them to update software or press for hardware change?
It’s strange how Porsche tries to treat this issue as a very isolated problem. Many of us keep pointing them to this forum — maybe it’s time they actually joined in (or at least i hope they are reading it)
Issues like this may be one of the factors contributing to the significant depreciation we’re seeing with the Taycan. Of course this is common with many tech driven EVs but it seems that other manufacturers managed to address it better with a software defined approach
Hi Everyone!
Had a long trip yesterday (CT 2023) with PCP on and it kept on crashing until it actually got stuck completely. This affected range indicator, which only corrected to the right remaining range once i was on 15% battery charge. This really sucks. I have already booked service...
Happens to me as well. Sometimes a few times during the trip. Taycan CT‘23. Very annoying as you have to enter destination again every time. During my last visit to Porsche they did a hard factory reset but the issue keeps on coming back((
I find the range is the only main drawback of Taycans) being my first electric car I didnt fully realize that driving in winter on unrestricted German highways would bring the range down to only 200 km))) ok, to be fair, driving over 200km/h will make ICE cars not particularly efficient either...
