I believe your explanation is correct. I was talking to local dealerships back in 2021 Nov/Dec to see how the allocations were, and finally put a deposit just around Christmas. Maybe it took few more days to reflect in their system.

I was told that the GTS ST allocations were the issue. Initially they mentioned that the allocation would come in August of ’22 types and the delivery could roll into 2023. In the mean time, my lease for Audi E-tron finished and I ended up buying an X5 PHEV .. thanks to delays.

It was 1 day for delivery to the dealership yesterday. Just checked and it got pushed out for the third time and now the tentative date moves to October.

Mine (GTS ST) is stuck at port with sliding delivery dates. I checked the VIN and it it not in any recalls. I don’t know MY24 makes any difference (as the VIN is not in the range of affected list). The latest is that it should be sent to dealership in 5 days. Will see if the date holds good.

My delivery schedule has been pushed out twice for MY24 GTS ST. The vessel has reached the local port on 8/8. The dealer was supposed to get it on 8/17. It got pushed out to 8/23. Now it got pushed out again to 9/26. Dealer doesn’t have any detail except “port hold”. Not sure what it is held at...
