Just responded to the reliability thread, but as in there the only problem I've had (also had it nearly a year) was an air suspension fault that they sorted super quickly. Charging/electrics/PCM - no problems at all.
I had an issue with the air suspension - one corner had a leak so would squat after a while while parked (but seemed fine driving). Very quickly fixed under warranty and not something I really worry about too much as that feels like just a standard "dodgy part" issue. Everything else has been...
I'm a bit surprised at the wear as I didn't think I was an overly spirited driver - but I did see a few people saying they'd worn a bit fast. Black circles only shows those two options as NF0 in that size and bizarrely my local Porsche dealer is actually (a tiny bit) cheaper for the Michelins...
I've got a 25MY Cross Turismo Turbo that came with the Pirellis which have driven fine but are nearly at the legal limit after ~8000 miles. Does anyone have any experience with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s? They seem to be the only other NF0 tyre I can get for the wheel size (20" wheels -...
Not sure if both work or there's different software (I've got a 25MY Turbo) but mine is a pull back on the cruise stalk to accept the change - will have to try moving it upwards next time!
I've got it on my Frozen Blue CT and think it works well - bit of a chameleon colour as well so changes quite a bit depending on the angle/lighting. Also have the black leather interior and it does look great paired with that.
They have kept the location side of things in the Departures setting - and that led me to have another dig as there’s an “Optimised Charging” option in there (although the description doesn’t seem to help much - I haven’t found anywhere to enter electricity prices for example and the manual...
Ah, just tested that and that does appear to be the case - I'm used to the EQA which very explicitly goes into a "charging paused" mode, the Porsche app/Taycan itself were giving very much "things have gone wrong" vibes with the red lights and messages. Thanks!
Yeah, services active. The...
In the MyPorsche app I don’t have any options for timers/profiles - just Departures - and there’s nothing obvious in the car’s Charge settings either (unless that’s moved?).
Not sure if I’m missing something - but have Porsche removed charging profiles/timers with the newer cars/software? I’ve recently got a 25 CT Turbo and was looking to get it to charge in the Octopus cheap power time slot (23:30 - 05:30). I can’t find anyway to do that in the car - just departure...
It is Turbonite stitching - obviously you don't get the metallic effect with that so it's a bit different but tonally kind of matches the lighter end. It contrasts with the black nicely.
Took a few yesterday to try and capture how the Turbonite looks - it's pretty subtle inside and works well with the black - on the outside it really does vary with the light/angle. I only noticed afterwards that the kids had managed to leave greasy fingerprints on the backseat already!
Thanks, going to try and get some decent photos tomorrow. Interior is black with Turbonite accents - also looks great (the configurator does not do that colour any favours).
Picked up my Frozen Blue CT Turbo on Saturday and am loving the colour - need to take some better photos but it looks absolutely stunning. I went with the Turbonite accents and off-road design package as well - I was a bit nervous about the Turbonite over black but actually really like the contrast.
I agree, I've got a deposit down for a CT 4S but had delayed it waiting for the facelift - the Macan is definitely making me consider switching. The Macan is ~£30k cheaper than the CT I've specced (similar equipment) and if the prices goes up on the CT then although I really do prefer the...
I've not really looked into the new PCM but if they're building it on Android that'll be Android Automotive - which is basically an optimised OS for vehicles and runs on the cars hardware - Android Auto (annoyingly a similar name!) and CarPlay (the current version at least) both mainly use the...
There seems to be a lot going on there at the front - not sure if they'd go to that much effort for straight camo (the previous camo has just been plastic wrap) but those panels being separate make me wonder if there's some kind of active aero going on there.
I've got a deposit down on a CT 4S...
