If I get a 2020 4S today then would I need to go to dealer to get all the latest SW updates? will that be free of charge?

what about the bigger issues some owners are reporting like heating failures, sudden loss of power etc?

I am in the same boat as you, bue I hear a lot of 12V and heating issues, plus prices on AT going down swiftly makes me worry whether this is a right choice our not. I actually like the look of the Taycan and would prefer to buy this to a Tesla.
