I purchased my ‘23 CT as a CPO…it had a cracked roof due to replacement installation error, which had to be re-done twice…was yours the original roof and did you ask Porsche about covering the replacement? Unless it was hit by a rock, it should not crack under normal conditions.

i also have the Porsche coverage package and my dealer repaired a scrub of my black painted wheel in one afternoon…the repair was impressive and impossible to spot after they finished.

I replaced the right rocker panel for my ‘23 CT due to clipping a corner curb in a parking garage. It was two pieces and had to be painted to match. Plus, one jack point got ripped off too. Total cost at the dealer was -$1,850.

I’m not sure if it’s available where you are, but I just applied for Porsche Auto Insurance and it was dramatically cheaper than USAA…like 70+% cheaper. They charge by the mile and I drive about 5,000 per year. The switch will save me $4K per year.

Wow. Wondering if it’s an installation flaw or a design flaw that there’s just too much body flex to support glass. Service visit scheduled for Wednesday so I’ll report back on their diagnosis.

I do, however, the crack is not near a connection point. Perhaps over-tightening the rails can lead to a stress failure in the middle?

Hope so…seems too coincidental to have the same issue again. No strike point Is visible. The crack is over the rear passenger door so way behind the front curvature that could be exposed to a direct hit from a rock.
