  1. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

I've finally finished, I used a fuse tap on one of the empty fuse slot for the ignition 12V (Passenger (Right) C3 - Brake booster control unit (RHD)) and another fuse tap on the pre-wired always on 12V (Passenger (Right) A2) Happy to help by providing further information to whoever needs it ;)
  2. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

I've found the 2 fuse holders that are pre-wired: - Always-on 12V is located in passenger side, fuse A2 - Ignition 12V is on the driver side, fuse C8 (Interior mirror from the manual) For reference...
  3. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

I tried the installation today for powering the dahscam with the pre-wired connector. I can confirm 3 of the wires are running to the back, the 3 others should be Always-on 12V, Ignition 12V and ground. However, the always-on wire doesn't have any power on it. After reviewing the "Installation...
  4. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

Thanks, I found that one as well but I want to double check first as I see 6 cables in the connector on the Taycan and the 911 schema only has 3 listed. I've see that one as well, really tempting but I believe it doesn't have a Starvis2 sensor or a rear camera (could you confirm this?).
  5. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

Starvis2 sensor was my choice a well. From usage though, so far, Viofo is picky on the sdcard you use (only a few are really stable). With the current home-made adapter I made, if I connect the rear camera using the pre-wire, the dashcam goes into a bootloop (I guess because of the...
  6. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

Following up with my installation, here are some pictures of the rear connector for the pre-wiring in the CT: Remove the trunk trim: I can confirm the rear yellow Fakra K connector is connected directly to the front one located on the overhead. I've checked the second rear connector (the...
  7. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

I believe it's just a connection to the back of the car. I'm planning to use it as well for the Viofo Dashcam rear camera (adapting the Viofo cable - cutting it in 2 and adding 2 connectors that can be connected to the pre-wiring). Will post here the results when I find time to do it ;)
  8. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

I believe so, below is the picture (sorry for the quality) after I pulled the yellow connector:
  9. Front and rear dashcam preparation option

If it is still useful to someone, I've received my CT4 for which I selected prewiring (front & rear). It took me multiple attempts but I finally located the overhead connectors for the dashcam, which are actually behind the roof trim so can't be accessed only by removing the overhead light. You...
