Love it!! Was thinking of doing the same before but never had the balls.
Please do share, did you lower the car further than stock?
What brand is your spoiler lip?
Ouch!! any pics? Pretty easy fix, dealer fixed all the damage and it’s like new now for me. The jack mount seems to be the lowest point of the front half of the car. There are also some aero blades in the rear of the car that often get clipped too.
I’m now combatting some door and rear...
Yeah I once did a fast one through a ditch that didn’t look deep but was and the air suspension hit the end of the travel and it made a solid thud sound. It felt like I had soft springs that hit the end of the compress even though I have air suspension. Anyone knows how the suspension works...
Unfortunately my insurance company didn’t cover the protection layers. Said I scratched them in another incident. Check out the part numbers below, should point you in the right direction.
Side piece covers are 9J1 825 101 and 9J1 825 101 A.
Thw center piece is:

Ouch! But I did notice right rear side cover being lower than the left. It’s an underbody aero piece. Apparently it can get caught especially when you’re going into an underground parking lot that has a breaking slant and the point of the concrete catches it slightly. Sometimes parking stops...
Yes I was also contemplating just getting the block and not fixing the tear. However, I’m a bit anal and the more I saw it the more I felt the car was not in pristine condition and decide to do a full fix of both side skirts and all the scratched protection layers that go over the battery.
I thought I would pass without raising the car. Bad judgement because the ramp slants down after passing and caught the jack stand.
Good lesson learned and wanted to remind others not to make the same mistake.
You’re right about the transformation. Mission E looks the best and more aggressive / tech look. Been contemplating switching out as well. Or going forged aftermarket with a concave look.
The loud crack noise was definitely painful as the jack stand piece broke off. Yes working with the insurance company for the claim as we speak. Apparently it’s an easy fix. Here’s more info for future reference if anyone else runs into the same problem.
Bottomed out on a raised bumped in the parking lot with 4 people in the car. Usually pretty good about lifting prior to bumps but this one was flat and then slanted down. Caught the jack stand block which was the lowest point of the car and ripped a big hole in the sideskirt. Other side just a...
Another change I’ve noticed is that the Body panel gaps are improved. I have a 2020 Taycan Turbo S. Compared to the neighbors 2023 Taycan, the body panel gaps around the doors and rear trunk area improved with tighter specs. Have read about PCM hardware revisions but no major difference and...
