All really useful chat to me so thanks, i was at the point of cancelling the order, but it seems not all is lost, and with the 800v network improving i might not miss out on the upgrade?, what's your thoughts Bob
yes I'm totally with you, I overlooked it which sounds stupid given what's at stake, I guess I didn't expect Porsche to skimp on something as important as this
the only way for me to add it now is to have the lease re-quoted which comes to over £100 / month.
do you find there is a decent...
appreciste the help
I’m sure you can understand my predicament
I’m kicking myself for not realising the 150kw upgrade option as I do travel a lot, so to be restricted to 50kw is going to be a real wounder
I can’t warrant the extra £110 per month to add it on due to the repricing structure
Is there a decent 800v network.
my current cars a Tesla so the superchargers are a god send to me, this is why I’m now concerned when I get the Taycan without this 150kw upgrade, unless I can use 800kw points and there’s a decent network across the country
yes the uplift was due to general yearly model upgrades prices
so to confirm I can get full charge capabilities on 800v stations? So at high voltage Tesla 250Kwh charge points, I’d get the full KWh, without the upgrade option added
sorry but this has been a really concern for me as the car is...
so without the optional booster I can use a 800v EVSE and get the full KWh?
I’m confused as this hasn’t been communicated to me at Porsche when I told them my predicament.
I hope this is the case

is this your issue. i didnt think it could charge over 50Kwh unless you have the upgrade
ive ordered my New Taycan, via my lease company not realising there was an optional extra for Fast charging over 50Kw, im now told to add this item on the car needs to be re-quoted, having been some 6 months ago its now gone up by £110 / month, is this an essential extra or is there a way to...
