Thanks, everyone! That’s what I initially thought and mentioned to my dealer. I was told it’s not normal, and they said they’d call me back. My model is a 4S. I'll keep you updated.
What might cause a clunking sound from the front wheels of my Porsche on a full turn?
I have 21-inch wheels, and it feels like the tyres are struggling to grip. Is this normal, or should I be concerned
?
Is the exterior sound louder in Sport mode, Sport+ mode, or both? I really can't tell the difference; I'm not sure if my hearing is on the way out from old age. Some say it's Sport, others say Sport+
Thanks
Thanks. Just curi
I remember my brother telling me to do something similar for my mobile many years ago, and he's an electronics engineer. It makes sense, and thanks for sharing this information.
I think it's really important because you never know what's going to happen in the future when you...
I have a question regarding charging: Would it be better to keep the battery topped up to 85%, or should I let it drain to around 25% before recharging to 85%? What approach would be optimal for maintaining battery health?
Thanks
When I park my Taycan on a slight uphill gradient, such as a driveway, the front park assist doesn't seem to work as the car approaches the wall. There's no warning of distance or beeping sound indicating proximity. It appears to function only when the car is on a flat surface. Has anyone else...
I was a bit confused about regen, but from what I gather, it's okay to keep it on auto mode for situations like going down hills or in stop-start traffic. Perhaps it's just not recommended for motorway driving.
Thanks, everyone. The car now displays 205 miles at 85% battery. I've adjusted my driving style slightly, opting to use regenerative braking on auto mode most of the time.
Thanks, it's new. It falls under distance buying rights. You can return the car if you don't go to the showroom to make the purchase, for example, over the phone. However, if you visit the showroom, you can't. Today, I'll be testing the car the motorway. It's only 120 miles, but I think it will...
I've recently received my Taycan, but I'm still waiting for a home charger to be installed. The other day, I charged my 4S 93.4kWh to 85% on a public charger, yet it only displayed 170 miles. Is that normal? I haven't driven it on the motorway yet, but I doubt it will perform well. Tomorrow...
It's a 4S, and I'm a bit nervous about scraping. The dealership assured me it's fine, but I take their word with a pinch of salt. Perhaps it's mostly needed on larger speed bumps and ramps.
I should get my Taycan delivered Monday. Just wanted to check at what speed must you be driving to lift the car, such as before approaching a speed bump, is it 20mph? Additionally, is it necessary to lift the car over every speed bump when driving in normal mode? Thanks.
We weren't sure if the car itself had issues because it happens so frequently. Dealership checked and said everything is fine. Even encountering the slightest puddle causes it to kick out. On one occasion, my wife did a 360 on the motorway in cold conditions, fortunately with no crash or...
Thank you very much. I was a bit apprehensive about it because my wife drives a rear-wheel ICE Merc, and it feels like a death trap. Backend is always coming out even at low speeds i.e. 20mph in wet conditions.
