This might be the best take.
  3. Miles per kWh - congratulated for decrease

What am I missing here. Why is Porsche congratulating me for being less efficient this month?
  4. J1. 2 A/C question - SOLVED

I have a 2023 and the seat doesn’t come on automatically when in auto
  5. Dealer refusing CPO on Taycan due to “battery messaging issue” — worth proceeding?

Why on earth would you go through with buying this car?
  6. Don Breaks His Taycan - The Saga of the 12v Battery

I appreciate the response - I keep reading people saying that Porsche "fixed" the 12v issue. Our car is parked sometimes for weeks at a time. I haven't had a problem yet, but from my general experience with lead acid batteries, having them on a tender extends their useful life, sometimes...
  7. Another red Electrical system error

really? That's surprising. we have 4 year / 50k miles in the states
  8. Another red Electrical system error

How do you have a 2023 that's out of warranty? Did you hit 50k miles? Either way, you will be covered by the drivetrain/battery warranty.
  9. Recommended maintenance details directly from Porsche

Brake fluid has. 2 year lifespan. This is common and you were correctly quoted. However in practice, few people replace their brake fluid every 2 years.
  10. Don Breaks His Taycan - The Saga of the 12v Battery

I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to understand where to permanently install my ctek charger. The jump posts in the frunk don’t seem to be designed to attach a charger to. I can’t tell in your picture where your wires went. There seem to be more than 2 wires highlighted. Can you please...
  11. My Porsche Infotainment keeps getting stuck

Yes - this has happened to me a half dozen times. Restarting the infotainment doesn't get rid of the issue. The only way to resolve this is to park the car, turn it off, lock it, walk away (so the key cannot communicate with the car), wait 30 minutes, and then its magically fixed.
  12. Brake pads

I’ve also started to see talk of insane brake prices. My understanding regarding the 6 year “recommended” replacement of the pads is that at 6 years you’ll be out of warranty so just use common sense if they need to be replaced. Being that Taycan has one of the strongest regens on the road, more...
  13. Taycan Turbo GT collection day 😁

I was referring to the fact that he got a $230k turbo gt. The WP only comes on the turbo gt as far as I know. It’s just already an expensive car. That’s all I meant.
  14. Taycan Turbo GT collection day 😁

You got the WP and you’re talking about not getting drawn into buying extras ? I’m just jealous!
  15. Excessive tyre wear.

Very interesting. We have metal springs and at 16k miles they were down to 2/32 but were evenly worn left to right.
  16. Just picked up my 2025 Taycan

wow - so around 365 miles on a full charge? I get 200 miles on my 2023 with the base battery. If we're careful and are taking a trip, we can stretch that to 230. That's a completely different experience.
  17. Broken DC Flap Causes Bad Charging Day

If towing is only free to the dealer, and the dealer was closed / no 24/7 charger available, I would have had my wife meet me at the dealership with our 120v charger, found an outlet, and then if it didn’t charge, leave it for service, and if it did, leave it long enough to charge to get home
  18. Complete brake failure !!

I told my wife to stop driving it after reading your posts until the recall is done.
  19. Complete brake failure !!

Just found out my dealer has the brake lines in stock after calling them Saturday. Scheduled for the recall work on Monday morning. I had asked them to reach out to me when they got the parts in stock and of course they didn’t.
