Is that the same for trying to close the trunk from the key fob? I haven't tried holding it down, but just pressing the fob button while the trunk is open never closes it for me. But I guess I'm also assuming it can be done at all, but if the panel button can close it, and the (2) inside trunk...
About a week out now and wanted to confirm the following with others:
There is no way to assign drive mode selection (specifically to get to Range mode) to one of the 2 programable "diamond" buttons.
The trunk lid will not power close from the key fob, only from the inside on the touch panel...
My (US) roadside assistance packet with the manuals lists "Out of charge service" (for non mechanical issues) as providing a tow within 50 miles to nearest charging location, but limited to 5 times per year.
Any US owners able to confirm this, in practice?
Thanks! I'm taking the suggestion from @hifi239 and stowing the Porsche mobile EVSE in case I need to tote one with me somewhere. For my garage, I am going with the "Good" @daveo4EV set-up of a 50 amp charging circuit, 14-50 outlet and a non-Porsche 40 amp EVSE (JuiceBox).
Ugh. That seems to be the only DCFC (EA or otherwise) anywhere near convenient for me in Delaware! Go by it all the time when heading to Philly for games or to the airport.
There’s a state-funded station “coming soon” that would be 10 minutes away but who knows when that will be.
Would that mean the electrician would also have to install the charger EVSE, and I assume remove the plug/cord? And how difficult is it to change out the charger EVSE to the Porsche one later, since that's also not hard-wire ready out of the box, I assume?
