I had one as a loaner, didn't enjoy it. Leans too much, felt slow (vs my turbo s), brakes didn't feel as good. If you need the space it's ok, but otherwise I enjoy the taycan much more.
So if my car is on low in sports plus it is noticeably stiffer/harsher on the ride than the gt. On lowered with sports plus I would say it was still maybe 10-20% stiffer. I think it comes from the lowered ride height as there is simply less wheel travel. In comparison to the GT I have mine set...
I think there is a way for the car to remember settings, I know when I got mine it would always default to normal for the ride, but now as soon as it boots up it goes into sport.
Yes that is correct, sports plus with lowered. The lowered height should give you similar stiffness to low in sports plus on oem links. As a side effect if you do run it in sports plus on low with the links, handling will be even more stiff.
Yeah I am on links, but by default on sports plus it sets to low, what I meant is you can over ride that and use lowered with the links, which will equal low if you set the links conservatively.
I think you would be the first. I love sport plus also, but keep all the settings except the ride height which I set to lower. That is the height the car defaults to at highway speeds. So low is just for show or pics.
Nice review, def get the mapev tune. Is this the car from Porsche Riverside?. Are you planning to lower the car as well?. Spacers give it a nice flush look!
I let my service expire. It wasn't that great. I noticed I can do way more with my Tesla and there app. I'm not even charged for that. Why should Porsche charge us for a premium car?.
That is not true, they have updated the car multiple times since debut. Also there are not many stock cars out there with 1000+hp for under 100k. The problem is America just is not in love with EV's. Taycan sales are even worse, There was no model S in 2009.
